The other reviews are right this is a larger place that has been partitioned into small hallways and tiny rooms, but my single was the size of a closet, no windows, no way to control airflow, not even a fan. The 'walls' look like walls but are so thin I could actually hear somebody in the room next to me crumbling a plastic bag, not to mention, when he was talking on his phone for an hour after midnight. Grrr. Also not a square of toilet paper in this whole place and the bathrooms are gross. Front desk lady evidently was having a bad night and keep making obscene hand gestures when she thought I wasn't looking. I had prearranged my checkin online due to a late arrival, but evidently they didn't tell her and she was trying to keep me from going to my room despite the fact that I had all the codes and texts from the company. Seriously, get new help. The only reason I stayed here was because I was arriving late and didn't want to have to travel more while tired. The experience was less than pleasant.
This place is extremely misleading. The photos make it look like a proper hotel, but in reality it’s a partitioned hostel room with no privacy at all. The rooms are cramped, noisy, and not clean nothing like what was shown online. When I checked in at 3 PM, the receptionist told me they had “lost the key” and made me wait more than 3 hours, which was very unprofessional. The whole place felt uncomfortable and poorly managed. Definitely not worth, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for even basic comfort. Please double-check before booking so you don’t end up in the same situation.
Excellent Location and Balcony view, Very Clean place, Helpful team, especially Mrs.Amal
We got a room without windows, even if this was not understandable from the pictures nor was mentioned in the description. When we asked for a room with a window the lady at the reception got very unfriendly and pissed. The whole place is dirty and the room had mould stains. The only good thing is the price, but for a few € more you can get much better
AVOID this place, it’s beyond horrible. It’s clearly old workers quarter, not a hostel. No signs outside so doubt if it’s even legal. Do not make the mistake and believe the good reviews (I’m sure the owners and their friends wrote them themselves) as there is nothing good about this place. The whole place is full of mold, everywhere is dirty. There are 3 shared toilets for 30 people. There was NEVER toilet paper, no shower curtains, two of the showers didn’t have hot water and the one that did, the water pressure was non-existing. The toilets are so filthy that we ended up using the toilets in the malls rather than here. Walls are paper thin, you hear everything. The staff are rude, yelling and just extremely unfriendly. You have to give 50aed deposit but if you check out early in the morning and don’t realize to ask the money back the night before, no getting it back as someone shows up to the reception only after 11am. The rooms are freezing, there is a common AC that you cannot control yourself. They give you thinnest blanket I’ve ever seen, so you end up sleeping with all your clothes on. Requested for an extra blanket, of course didn’t get one. We didn’t even get towels and when asked for one, the cleaning lady rolled her eyes and slammed them to us. There is no way anyone who has stayed here gives this place a good review. And dont get me wrong, we are budget travellers, usually you get what you pay for but this place is not worth even a penny. 30usd a night and no basic things like toilet paper, biggest scam of all time, wouldn’t stay here even for free.
