Ostadi Kabab probably needs to expand 😂 We were lucky to arrive at a time when seating was immediately available. Although the prices are slightly on the higher side, the kebabs and soup were absolutely worth it. The vibe is unique and full of character, with walls covered in photos and antique pieces that make the experience memorable. The staff, waiters, and even the owner were incredibly lively and welcoming. The owner kept moving around, chatting with customers and taking feedback — no wonder people enjoy coming here. RTA parking is conveniently located right outside, so that wasn’t an issue either. Definitely looking forward to trying more items on their menu. And honestly… I do hope my picture ends up on that wall someday 😄😄
If you are looking for an authentic and traditional meal, this is the spot. The vibe was absolutely everything—so full of character and local history. Beyond the incredible food, winding down with their Iranian tea was the perfect highlight. It’s easily the best Iranian tea around. Highly recommended
This place is amazing! We ordered the Mixed Grill for 2 and it did not disappoint. When you combine the Kabab with bread and sides you get an amazing bite of food. Perfect amount of food, very quick delivered to the table hot and fresh. Will definitely go again. Staff were very friendly and kind to us. Easy tap to pay network system as in all of Dubai. Again we brought cash for tipping and come from a 20% tip culture in the USA, not sure what the locals do.
Tried out Al Ustad Special Kebab and honestly, it lived up to the hype. Went through a good variety from their menu and liked pretty much everything. Their kebabs are the real star—fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. Yes, the pricing is slightly on the higher side, but the quality, taste, and freshness definitely justify it. One thing that really stands out is the owner’s hospitality—super friendly and makes you feel welcomed right from the start. The place also has a unique charm with walls covered in photos of celebrities who’ve visited over the years. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially on weekends. But if you’re using the Dubai Metro, it’s just about a 10-minute walk from Al Fahidi Metro Station, which makes it quite convenient.
Very lovely experience. We did our dinner here after good souk and found this restaurant by accident. Fantastic atmosphere, the prices are not expensive and you get a lot of food for your budget. I really liked how friendly everyone was and we could also get our meat gluten free. I can recommend it to everyone who wants to make true Persian experience in Dubai. We will come back.
