If you’re on a layover in Doha, this place is absolutely worth the short drive from the airport. We visited as a couple during a stopover and found Parisa through several travel sites — it completely lived up to the recommendations. The food was outstanding: rich local flavours, beautifully prepared traditional recipes, and very generous portions. Every dish felt authentic and full of character. The venue itself is gorgeous. The restaurant is set inside a traditional building with stunning local ornaments and intricate decorative details — it feels like dining inside a piece of art. The atmosphere alone makes the experience memorable. Service was warm, attentive, and efficient, which made everything even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience and a very solid choice if you’re visiting Doha — even briefly. Highly recommended. Bonus, you will be in the middle of a walking area, close to markets, museums, and a vibrating part of the city. Very safe and clean.

There cannot be a more grand Iranian restaurant than Parisa Souq Waqif. The place is massive, beautifully designed, and filled with stunning hand crafted decor that instantly stands out. The food was equally impressive. Rich flavours, perfectly cooked kebabs, and authentic Iranian taste throughout. Located in Souq Waqif, this is a must visit for anyone who loves kebabs and traditional cuisine. The restaurant is always busy, so reservations are highly recommended. We could not get a table during lunch and came back for dinner, but the wait was completely worth it. Loved both the ambience and the food.

This restaurant had been high on my bucket list, largely because of how much people rave about its beauty. I was genuinely stunned the moment I stepped inside—the interior design is absolutely breathtaking, with thoughtful details everywhere. Truly stunning. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the setting. The only highlights of the meal were the beef and the hummus, which says a lot about the overall experience. The chicken, Chelo Jooje, despite being one of the most popular dishes, was a major letdown. While it was moist, it lacked seasoning and flavor and was ultimately very bland. I can’t honestly compliment the food, and I don’t see myself returning. As someone of South Asian background, I’m very open to and appreciative of different cuisines, and I genuinely love Arabic food. However, Persian cuisine—at least in this experience—felt bland and uninspiring. This is simply my objective and personal perspective. I would recommend visiting purely to experience the ambience and the stunning interior, but beyond that, it’s unfortunately a no for me.

GORGEOUS place✨ The most beautiful Iranian interior restaurant I’ve ever visited, every corner is a master piece. We order olive salad & jujeh kabab which both were very tasty. Their service is good, but the only issue was that there were a lot of waitresses moving around unnecessarily, which disturbed us while we were eating. However, when we actually needed them, we couldn’t find anyone.

Parisa Souq Waqif is one of the most enchanting dining experiences I’ve had in Doha. The moment you step inside, the space captivates you. The intricate details, the colors, the overall atmosphere. It all feels luxurious and unforgettable. The food matched the setting beautifully. I ordered the lamb chops and a pot of tea, and both were exceptional. The lamb was tender enough to fall off the bone, perfectly seasoned, and didn’t require a single drop of sauce. The service, however, is what made the evening truly special. The staff treated me with such warmth and care that I genuinely felt like royalty. Their kindness elevated the entire experience. If you plan to visit, make a reservation. While waiting for mine, I watched several groups turned away because the restaurant was fully booked. Parisa is absolutely worth the stop. It is elegant, memorable, and deeply welcoming.
