Hakkasan is a great choice for a high-end dinner in Doha. It is known for modern Cantonese cuisine, and the whole experience feels refined and special. I visited on a weekend evening, and the ambience was excellent, making it ideal for celebrations, date nights, and special occasions. The food presentation is one of the highlights. Every dish looks like a piece of art, beautifully plated and very impressive. The taste was also excellent. They are especially known for dishes like dim sum and Peking duck, and the menu offers a unique experience, especially if you are trying this style of cuisine for the first time. It is definitely not cheap, but it is a place worth trying for the atmosphere, presentation, and overall experience.

I must start off by saying the food was sensational and the staff are very accommodating. I didn’t realise their set menu is only for, I think 4 or more guest or maybe it’s 2+ (don’t recall). They still allowed me to experience the lunch menu as a solo diner. It’s was exceptional! The best restaurant experience for me in Doha. I would certainly go back. Only downfall was my experience was severely tampered with due to very loud customers who lacked social awareness and proceeded to antagonise me. Was a very upsetting and awful encounter. I asked to be moved and expressed myself to the staff. I appreciate the culture in Qatar (not known to voice one’s opinion or let’s say be aggressive so forth) but, as a solo female traveller it would have been very helpful if the staff could have politely told the guest to leave me alone. I had to make a lot of effort to move and feel comfortable which I truly believe that should be part of the customer service. If a guest feels unhappy/ uncomfortable due to others then this should be addressed and responded to.

After a long time, we finally dined again and we chose Hakkasan Doha, and it reminded us why we love this place. The ambience is exactly our style—dark, sophisticated, and elegant. The highlight for me was definitely the dim sum. It arrived on a special plate with a beautiful steam effect, which made the presentation even more impressive. But beyond the visuals, the dim sum itself was incredible—especially the Supreme platter. It literally melts in your mouth. If I go back, I would happily order more of their dim sum. For the mains, I had the Japanese tea–smoked beef, while my husband ordered the Chilean sea bass. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Since it’s Ramadan, the restaurant was a bit quiet, but the experience was still wonderful. Hakkasan is definitely a place worth trying in Doha.

The service and food quality were outstanding. We enjoyed the Dim Sum, Hokkaido scallops, and the thoughtful dessert "Sweet Caviar." A cozy ambience added to the wonderful experience. Special thanks to the friendly and professional staff.

Nice food and service. I tried A la carte and all I ordered were really delicious. I could see they also have very nice Dim sum, so I will definately come back for Dim sum next time.
