I visited Piano Man after quite some time, and I’m glad to say it didn’t disappoint. I had booked tickets online for a special jazz night, and from the moment we arrived, the courteous staff made us feel welcome. The food was impressive the Neapolitan style pizza was a clear standout, beautifully done and full of flavor. What truly elevated the evening, though, was the live jazz performance. It brought a certain magic to the space and lifted the entire ambience. If I had to nitpick, it would be that the experience can feel a bit pricey especially if you’re booking a ticket for entry. The venue is also on the smaller side, so it can get a little crowded when it’s packed. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic evening overall great food, soulful music, and an experience that makes you want to come back.
Good thing about this place is a very well designed menu and the bad thing is, they weren’t serving food at 11:45 pm on a Saturday night. We barely had any time to order more drinks. It’s sad that we couldn’t try any of the dishes, because whoever crafted the menu has put in a lot of work and seems passionate about what they do. We’d have loved to try a few plates had the kitchen not been closed so early on a weekend. The vibe was good, and I was surprised to find not many people there. Good choice of music too. Refreshing place.
Loved the ambience of the place. Definitely worth a visit. They have a variety of cocktails. We tried the old fashioned, a little pricey but tasted nice and strong. The gin smash was quite tasty as well. For wise. The dimsums and the pizza were both great. Didn’t get a chance to witness the performances but hopefully soon.
Such a great vibe of this place. The ambiance is quite lively and one feels to enjoy. Definitely a go to place if you want to hear some pop rock music, they do have other genres as well. They have fixed entry fee charges, so no couple stags problem. It’s quite a small place, feels like you have entered a Bandra club. You don’t get a table as it has very limited seating so you keep standing through out the night. It’s full packed no place to even stand, you have to hold your ground. But definitely a worth it place to visit with your gang who have similar tastes. Food drinks are all good here.
So, they proudly charge an entry fee of ₹500 for a “live performance” and no, it’s not redeemable. Apparently, just entering the place is a luxury experience. If you’re going to charge like a five-star restaurant, maybe try offering five-star service? The performance itself was… let’s just say YouTube has better options for free. The place is tiny, yet they believe in the philosophy of “the more, the merrier” to the point where you start questioning your oxygen supply. It’s so overcrowded that it feels less like a restaurant and more like a human storage unit. Claustrophobia comes complimentary. The gentleman outside managing the entry is delightfully ill-mannered, ensuring your mood is ruined even before you step in. They stuff in as many people as humanly possible, comfort be damned. Highly not recommended unless your idea of a good time is overpaying to feel suffocated in chaos.
