We had a magnificent stay at the Manor. The staff and owner were incredibly helpful and warm. As we stayed near friends the location was optimal and we felt very safe walking inside the colony. The amenities and room were superb, clean and very comfortable. They offered late check out and were kind enough to help us order a gift and receive it in our absence. The chance to speak with the owner to learn about the history of the Manor was a unique and charming touch. We would certainly recommend staying here and would happily return.
One of the hidden gems in South West Delhi near NFC. Maintained the property like a heritage. Beautiful structure, fantastic manicured lawns, hedges etc, and garden lights. At night it looks like a quaint New York club! 👌🏻 The restaurants behind (total 3) are like small cute cafes offering bakery items and a Japanese restaurant. Yes, tad bit on the higher side and your wallet will easily take an unrepairable hit! But enjoy the ambience and the place. Did not stay at the hotel but whatever else I saw and walked through, I found it fantastic. And hence this review! Well done to the Management! 👍🎉
I chose to stay at The Manor Hotel as my usual hotel was fully booked, and I really wanted to like it, as it is a beautiful property with a lot of potential. Booking was unfortunately not smooth. The website did not allow me to complete a reservation, so the hotel kindly arranged the room directly by email, including a half-day late check-out. However, the rate offered directly was higher than the rate shown on their own website, and they were unable to honour the online price. I had also requested a taxi pick-up in the same email thread, which was missed and not followed up on. During my stay, I unfortunately became ill with food poisoning after having breakfast at the hotel. Although my early check-out the following day was due to a change in my own plans, I did raise the issue with the owner to see if they’d be able to refund the unused night. The owner was incredibly kind and initially agreed to refund the unused night; however, afterwards the hotel only offered a half-day refund instead, which felt inconsistent given the circumstances. The owner himself is genuinely lovely, and the hotel could be excellent, but the managing staff and internal communication left a lot to be desired. I would also personally hesitate to eat breakfast there again after this experience. With stronger management, clearer pricing consistency, and better follow-through on guest requests, this hotel has the potential to be truly great.
The place is fine. However, the location is a little too inside the friends colony. Getting a cab through ola, uber and rapido gets tougher here. In our experience, we didn't find any when we had to go to the airport. So we tried an auto for which too we had to walk half a kilometre to get it and to reach a metro station atleast for reaching the airport.
We encountered several issues during our stay. The room was quite noisy, mainly because of the railway track nearby. Installing soundproof doors could have helped reduce the disturbance. We also faced brown water coming out from taps which presents concerns about water safety standards. On our last day, there was no water supply, and when we enquired, we were simply told it was “under maintenance,” which did not feel like a sufficient explanation for guests. The breakfast menu was exactly the same every day, with little variety. Overall, the service did not meet our expectations.
