The Imperial is one of my favourite hotels in the world. Arriving through the gates feels like entering an alternate universe where everything is beautiful, calm and clean. You get a genuine sense of great hospitality from all staff and feel extremely well cared for. It is a unique hotel that embodies the history and culture of early 20thC Delhi, they have gone to great lengths to maintain the historical aspects of the hotel while keeping it updated with all comforts and mod cons. Shout out to the wonderful spa and the huge pool!

The Imperial delivers truly exceptional service from start to finish. From the seamless airport pickup to the warm welcome upon arrival, everything felt effortless. I didn’t even need to visit the reception — I was personally received and all formalities were handled comfortably in my room. Despite a very short stay, I experienced the spa with a manicure, pedicure, body wrap, and a Vitamin C facial — and the spa team was outstanding across the board: highly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The hotel itself is pure luxury, from the stunning lobby and beautifully appointed rooms to the spa facilities. The level of service is rare even among top five-star hotels and absolutely justifies the price. Room service, food quality, and the friendliness and interest shown by every member of staff were simply remarkable. Even in just one day, this hotel left a lasting impression. An exceptional experience in every sense — service, quality, atmosphere, and cuisine. Truly world-class.

Our stay at The Imperial in New Delhi was absolutely sensational. From the very first moment, the level of service was outstanding and truly on another level. Throughout our entire stay, the staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. It is rare to experience such genuine hospitality and professionalism. What impressed us most was the consistency of the service across the entire hotel. Every interaction felt warm, thoughtful, and highly professional. We travel frequently and have stayed in many excellent hotels around the world, but the service here really stood out as something special. A particular highlight was the breakfast service. The quality of the food was excellent, but what made it truly memorable was the exceptional service provided by Niti. Every morning he delivered sensational service, was extremely attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. His professionalism and friendliness left a lasting impression on us and made our mornings at the hotel especially enjoyable. Overall, everything about our stay was outstanding — from the service to the atmosphere and the attention to detail. We can only recommend The Imperial to everyone and would return at any time.

Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The decor and ambiance are of a grand hotel of yesteryear but everything is also in perfect order and beautifully kept. My room was spacious and extremely comfortable. It included a fruit bowl and welcome jar of chocolate madeleines. The bathoom was also large, spotless, and contained ample lovely products. The grounds were relaxing, large and attractive. I enjoyed my breakfast with attentive service and every food and drink that one could want. I also ate in the in-house Asian restaurant which was decorated with salvaged ancient temple remnants. This made it a spectacular and memorable setting. Also, I enjoyed a drink in the atmospheric Patiala Peg bar, which offers the experience of having a 'peg' of spirits, which is in recognition of India's history of socialising during polo. I had read reviews that the hotel needed some small updating, but I disagree with this. Everything is in perfect condition and great order. The staff throughout were also wonderful.

I recently stayed at The Imperial Hotel, and my experience was absolutely wonderful. The property is impeccably clean, and the overall atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, making it the perfect retreat. A special mention goes to the staff at the lounge—Mitali, Neha, and Rentta were absolutely fabulous. They were kind, patient, and went out of their way to host us and make us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality truly stood out. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast was delicious and offered a varied selection of high-quality options. Additionally, the hotel’s outdoor area is gorgeous and provides a beautiful setting to unwind. I highly recommend The Imperial to anyone looking for a quiet and luxurious stay. I look forward to returning!
