Visited Sita Ram Diwan Chand and really enjoyed the experience. The food was very good—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. What stood out just as much was the cleanliness; the place was extremely well-maintained and hygienic, which made the visit even better. Overall, a great spot for good food with a clean and comfortable environment. Would definitely recommend.
I am sure that like me every Delhi people like chole bhature. And at any time you might have heard about the iconic Sita Ram Diwan Chand. This is my first time I have eaten there. I got myself a plate of Chole bhature and one lassi. What I noted that their chole tasted like each spices in that is precisely calculated and mixed. The chole was not spicy that much and not the chatpata (like street style). Very moderated flavourfull chole. Now when it comes to their bhature, it hit differently. First thing that the bhatura was made before and then it was reheated then served therefore it is flat bhature. This flat bhatura may not be liked by everyone like the actual iconic experience of eating a chole bhature plate. One very special thing about their bhatura is that it felt very light and not that bulky heavy feeling which is really good (feels light). Lastly I had their lassi which I loved because generally at other shops (not all shops but few) which serves too sweetened lassi, but thisone is really better. Few things to note down, first avoid going there by your own car hevause there is literally no parking. Secondary there is no sitting arrangement. I get there before noon and it was full of customers. The area that shop comes in is also crowded.
Visited Sita Ram Diwan Chand around 5 PM and as expected, the place was pretty packed — which clearly shows how legendary and loved this spot is in Delhi. We ordered their famous chole bhature along with a sweet lassi, and it was absolutely delicious! The chole had great flavor and the bhature were perfectly soft and fluffy. The lassi was refreshing — a perfect combination. It’s a self-service setup, but everything moves quickly despite the crowd. The prices are very reasonable, making it totally worth it. Definitely a must-visit place in Delhi. Highly recommended! 👌
Chole bhature at its finest! One of the best chole bhature we had during our trip to Delhi. We loved the chole and potato and the chutney they put ontop. The bhature was kinda chewy and we are used to a puffed bhatura but this was pretty good too with the filling inside. Overall super tasty but my dad got a bad bad stomach ache after eating this, am maybe he has too much haha
Well, I must say it is a must-visit place if you love chole bhature. The chole are rich, well-spiced, and full of flavor, and the bhature are soft and perfectly cooked. They have variety, stuffed and plain, i would recommend stuffed as they remain soft for longer. The taste is consistent and lives up to its reputation. It’s usually crowded, which itself says a lot about the place. Overall, a classic Delhi spot for a satisfying and authentic meal.
