⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) An absolutely spectacular monument and one of the highlights of my entire trip to Delhi. Qutub Minar exceeded my expectations in every way. The tower itself is stunning, but what truly makes this place special is the entire archaeological complex surrounding it. Every corner offers something interesting, whether it’s the architecture, the history, the intricate carvings, or the beautiful gardens and ruins spread throughout the site. The complex is exceptionally well maintained, clean, and easy to explore. Despite being one of Delhi’s most famous attractions, it felt far more relaxed and enjoyable than many of the city’s more crowded landmarks. Located away from the center of Delhi and closer to the airport area, it requires a bit more effort to visit, but it is absolutely worth it. In my opinion, it should be on every visitor’s itinerary. The combination of history, architecture, and atmosphere makes this one of the most memorable places in Delhi. The tower itself is magnificent, but the surrounding complex is what truly elevates the experience. One of my favorite places in Delhi, second only to the Lotus Temple.
Today, on 03 June 2026, I had the opportunity to visit Qutub Minar, one of India's most remarkable historical monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The experience was truly memorable and enriching. Located in Delhi, Qutub Minar stands as a magnificent symbol of India's rich cultural heritage, architectural brilliance, and historical significance. The first impression of Qutub Minar is breathtaking. Rising to a height of approximately 73 meters, the tower showcases exceptional craftsmanship and intricate carvings that have survived for centuries. The detailed inscriptions and beautiful red sandstone construction reflect the artistic excellence of the medieval period. Standing beneath this towering monument gives visitors a deep appreciation for the engineering skills and vision of the builders. The entire Qutub Complex is well-maintained and offers a peaceful atmosphere for visitors. The lush green gardens surrounding the monument provide a pleasant environment for walking, photography, and relaxation. The historical structures within the complex, including the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Alai Darwaza, and the famous Iron Pillar, add tremendous value to the overall experience. Each structure tells a unique story about India's fascinating past. The cleanliness and organization of the site deserve special appreciation. Visited Qutub Minar recently and had a very nice experience. The monument is well maintained and the historical architecture is really impressive. The evening light show was very good and worth watching. The projected lights on Qutub Minar made the monument look so beautiful and gave a different feel compared to daytime. The surrounding area was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant for families and tourists. One more interesting thing was watching flights passing very close to Qutub Minar because of the nearby airport route. Seeing the illuminated monument with airplanes flying in the background was a unique experience. Overall, it is a great place to visit in Delhi for history lovers, photography, and a relaxing evening outing
