My visit to the National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy was truly a memorable experience. The best part is that the entry fee is free, which makes it accessible for everyone who wants to explore India’s rich cultural heritage. The museum beautifully showcases the culture and traditions of different states through its impressive collection of art, crafts, and traditional displays. If you are a textile lover, this place is nothing less than heaven. From handwoven fabrics to intricate embroidery and traditional garments, the variety is amazing. There are also plenty of art and craft items available for purchase, making it a great spot to buy unique and authentic souvenirs directly inspired by Indian craftsmanship. The ancient items displayed in the museum are equally fascinating. They give you a glimpse into India’s history and traditional lifestyles, and each section feels thoughtfully curated. The entire atmosphere is calm, artistic, and inspiring. There is a restaurant available inside the premises, which is convenient, although the waiting time can sometimes be long, especially during busy hours. Still, the overall experience makes it worth the visit. It is definitely a place I would love to visit again and again — whether during the day or in the evening. A must-visit destination in Delhi for culture and art lovers.

I visited Bharat Mandapam for the book fair and took the opportunity to check out the National Art Museum while I was there. The museum was a great experience, with a diverse range of exhibits showcasing India's rich cultural heritage. The layout was well-organized, making it easy to navigate and explore at my own pace. I also enjoyed the cafe inside, which had a lovely ambiance - just be sure to book a table in advance as it can get busy! Overall, it was a fantastic way to spend the day, combining my love of books and art.
