If there is one place in Delhi that truly deserves the title of serving legendary chole bhature, it's this iconic old-school spot in Kamla Nagar. Be prepared to stand in line, there are usually separate queues for men and women, and the crowd is a testament to just how popular this place is. There's no fancy seating arrangement either; most people enjoy their meal standing in the adjoining shop where lassi and other beverages are available. What makes their chole bhature so special isn't just the perfectly fluffy bhature or the rich, flavorful chole, it's the unique chutney they serve alongside. That chutney takes the entire experience to another level. They also offer extra chole masala, allowing you to customize the spice and flavor exactly how you like it. And the taste? Absolutely unreal. Every bite is packed with flavor, nostalgia, and the kind of satisfaction that only a truly iconic food joint can deliver. I've had chole bhature at countless places, but this one easily scores 100/10. No frills, no fancy presentation, just phenomenal food that keeps people coming back year after year. A must-visit for every Delhi food lover.
Truly stands up to its hype. Stood in the line for 1 hour to finally get my hands on the Chole Aloo Bhature and OHHH MYYYY GAWDDDD. - the chole / chana are next level. No excessive spice, no excessive masala. Yummmmmm - they give a chutney which is not from earth. OMG. That lifts the taste of the chole to another level. After savouring the full plate I didnt feel bloated, my stomach didnt cry, my heart didnt burn. The wait is worth it. The effort is worth it. Get in the line.
Chole Bhature and Lassi taste is 10/10. The green chutney they serve enhances the taste of chole bhature. But you have to wait in long line for about 45 mins or more. After Crossing all the Chaos you will get privilege of getting Chole bhature. At dot 3 pm they close the shop because by that time everything gets finish. No UPI. They deal only in Cash.
This place is OG of Chola Bathura. If you're in New Delhi to try this shop. You'll just love it. I'm having here for the last 15 years and the taste hasn't changed yet. Wait time is approx 10-15 mins and they have a separate line for men and women. But the waiting is worth it... 🥰♥️♥️ Highly recommend
Spent almost 40 min standing in queue to get the chole bhature, which turned out to be so below average that if i compare it to some unkown spots in delhi i would say even those tasted much better than this overhyped undercooked and tasteless chole bhature. Bhature were chewy and not fried properly seems because of rush, and chole was blant, tasteless and was missing that proper balance. Those who all are giving these high ratings, they really need to either get their taste buds checked or should try so many other options of chole bhature in delhi to develop the palate. Would not recommend this place at all. Although lassi was pritty decent.
