Since it's a south indian restaurant..serving only south delicacies... Dosa's are amazing.... no doubt in that only let down is all other accompaniment. accompaniment. Shamber , chutney and potato masala ..all the a miss. Not at all justifying the dosa. Shamber is too sweet, it's like ..Chef forget to put salt and user sugar instead. Chutney are also on sweeter side.. making the combination ..not edible..

Tried Carnetic Cafe recently and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We ordered different kinds of dosas, and each one was better than the next. The flavors were rich, the dosa crispness was just perfect, and the chutneys complemented the taste beautifully. The variety on the menu really stood out, making it fun to explore and try something new with every plate. A perfect place for South Indian food lovers who enjoy authentic taste with a modern café vibe. Definitely worth visiting again!😊😎

The vibe of the cafe is pretty similar to other South Indian restaurants, nothing too fancy, but comfortable. The food however, is absolutely amazing, especially the masala dosa. We ordered masala dosa, onion masala dosa, thatte idli, onion uttapam, vada, and finished with filter coffee, and every item tasted great. The flavors were authentic and satisfying. The restaurant stays crowded most of the time, so reserving a table would be a good idea, though the waiting time isn’t usually too long. Overall, a great place for quality South Indian food in New Delhi.

The first thing I Google when I have to visit an area is the best place to eat there. Carnatic, certainly didn’t disappoint with it’s food. I had a foamy filter coffee to begin with which was strong and sublime. They have a limited yet detailed list of dosas you could order from. I went for their most famous and flavoured Malleshwaram 18th Cross and it was amazing! The love for the food can overlook the service. The person assisting us acted off- a know it all over confident server. While I loved his passion for his job, I didn’t appreciate the tone and over confidence. Anyway, when I arrived it was not busy but when I left a long queue awaited. Good food for the price and truly authentic so would 100% recommend.

🍽️ Visited Carnatic Cafe with south Indian friend and the experience was absolutely worth the wait! 🥞 we ordered Set Dosa and Paddu, paired with their refreshing Kokum drink 🍹 — an unexpectedly perfect combo. The set dosa was soft, fluffy, and full of flavor, while the paddu was crisp on the outside and soft inside 😋. The kokum drink balanced the meal beautifully and felt super refreshing. 🎶 What really stood out was the slow, traditional Carnatic music in the background — calm, soulful, and it instantly sets an authentic South Indian vibe. ⏳ Waiting time: • Weekdays: around 10–15 minutes • Weekends: can go up to 30 minutes 👉 But trust me, the food is 100% wait-worthy 🔥 ⭐ Overall, Carnatic Cafe nails authentic flavors, traditional ambience, and soulful food. A must-visit for anyone who truly loves South Indian cuisine ❤️
