The Ti Pa Kai was excellent and the standout dish of the meal. Unfortunately, the Siu Mai fell short of expectations. The dumplings felt quite small, and I found the filling lacked the distinct pork-and-prawn combination that I usually look for in a good Siu Mai. The flavor was pleasant but somewhat one-dimensional in which you can find in Peru's street food Chinatown. Har Gow is often one of the best indicators of the quality and freshness of a dim sum kitchen, so I was particularly looking forward to it. In this case, the prawn flavor did not stand out as much as expected. The bamboo shoots and pork fat contributed texture, but they seemed to overshadow the shrimp rather than complement it. I would have preferred a sweeter, fresher prawn flavor to take center stage, with the other ingredients serving as supporting elements. The Ti Pa Kai was exceptional and showed that the kitchen is capable of producing excellent cantonese dishes with the traditional Wok Hey complimenting the aftertaste. While the Siu Mai and Har Gow didn't meet my expectations, I would be interested in returning to try more items from the menu. Manuel, who served me, was great! He explained the history of Peruvian Chinese culture, which enriched the whole dining experience.

Absolutely loved this place—the atmosphere is something special. From the moment you arrive, there’s a calm, inviting vibe that makes it easy to relax and just take everything in. This spot absolutely nails Chinese-Peruvian cuisine. Every dish is packed with flavor—the perfect balance of savory, smoky, and slightly sweet that makes chifa so special.

Had a bit of high hopes. The sauces with the fried dumplings could have been better, but we really liked the spicy chimichurri chilli oil sauce. We werent expecting the classic wontons to be fried. We ordered saltado noodles and we asked them to make it spicy but the sauce was sweet.

Absolutely Outstanding! I had an incredible dining experience at Kion Peruvian Chinese. The fusion of Peruvian and Chinese flavors (chifa) is executed at the highest level—every dish was bursting with bold, perfectly balanced tastes and beautifully presented. I started with the Chun Kun, which are a Chinese spring roll filled with pork and chicken. They were very crispy and simply delicious. For my main meal I had the Sahofan Taypa, a Kion style stir fried noodle pork, chicken and shrimp and vegetables. It as well was delicious, full of flavor and presented well. The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy and welcoming, perfect for sharing plates with friends or family. I ate solo and was not completely able to finish my meal as the servings were plentiful. Service was impeccable—my waiter was perfect, attentive, knowledgeable, and making sure every detail was spot-on with warm recommendations and excellent care. This is easily one of the better restaurants out there. Highly recommended—you won't be disappointed! Go hungry and try the combos. I'll definitely be back.

The food had amazing flavors. We ordered chaufa, a main dish, and a couple of dim sum items. All really good. The fried dumpling’s filling was kind of like sausage. Not my cup of tea. The wings (not pictured) were probably my favorite on the menu. Beker was our waiter and he was very kind and helpful.
