We debated between this hotel and a competitor. We are happy we chose hotel D’Angleterre. I was initially concerned with how the rooms looked, but they were better in real life and very comfortable: well isolated, black out curtains, and comfortable bed. Breakfast is quite good. Hot chocolate at the lobby is great. Diptyque shower products are provided in the room. The location of the hotel is ideal and super central. The staff were all super friendly! The only cons: - The tv was too complicated to cast onto and should be fixed. - We had 100$ credit to use in the hotel but we weren’t told that it didn’t apply to the champagne bar, which is supposed to be part of the hotel

We just had an exceptional 5-night stay at Hotel D'Angleterre! It was not inexpensive, which gave us pause. Would it be "worth it" and disappoint? This property exceeded our expectations! The quality of the breakfast was wonderful. We had a very spacious and nicely decorated room. The housekeeping staff was thorough and prompt. The front desk people were warm, pleasant, and professional. We LOVED our stay!

We stayed at Hotel d’Angleterre in Copenhagen for our wedding trip and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the city on Kongens Nytorv, making it incredibly easy to walk to the main sights, Nyhavn and many fantastic restaurants and bars. For a special occasion it could not have been better placed. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding. The staff were warm, welcoming and extremely professional, and every interaction felt genuine rather than formal or scripted. It really set the tone for the whole stay. The hotel itself is beautiful. The building has a real sense of history and elegance, but everything is maintained to an incredibly high standard. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and finished with the level of detail you would expect from one of Copenhagen’s most iconic hotels. We also used the spa during our stay which was lovely and a perfect way to relax. The facilities are beautifully designed and very calm, making it a great escape after a day exploring the city. The food at the hotel’s Marchal restaurant was exquisite. The quality, presentation and service were all outstanding and it was easily one of the best meals of our trip. If you are visiting Copenhagen for a celebration, a special trip or a wedding, Hotel d’Angleterre is an outstanding place to stay. Luxurious, welcoming and perfectly located, it made our time in the city unforgettable.

I just checked out of the hotel yesterday , and honestly, staying here meant a lot to me ,especially after struggling with illness. It was one of the most important choices I made, mainly because of the amazing staff and the beautiful view, especially the Jet d’Eau fountain on Lake Geneva. When I arrived, I found out the fountain was under its annual maintenance… I felt a little disappointed. But one of the staff members, named Rudy, didn’t let me down at all ,he went and printed a photo he had taken himself of the fountain, framed it, and placed it in my room as a surprise. 💖 It truly touched my heart , such a thoughtful gesture so I wouldn’t feel sad about missing the real fountain. The manager also came out just as I was leaving to personally greet and say goodbye to me and my husband , one of the kindest managers I’ve ever met. There’s also an Arab gentleman at the entrance who’s always smiling, cheerful, and so polite. And two other staff members , I don’t know their names, unfortunately ,but every time I came in, they would rush ahead to open the elevator door for me and press my floor number. The services they provided to me as a guest were beyond excellent. From housekeeping to the manager, everyone ,truly everyone, even the restaurant staff , were among the kindest people you could ever meet in a hotel. Not once did they disappoint me. Every time I left or came back, they were like a comforting presence, always gentle, always kind. 💛

Stayed here during the (many) flight cancellation to Amsterdam and it was the best decision. The service, the staff, the wellness were top notch. I was able to relax and enjoy the city to the fullest. Thank you for everything.
