We are in generator hotel from 22nd may to 27th may 2026. The room is clean and the biggest drawbacks were not having refrigerator and electric kettle. The location of hotel is good and it is near to many attractive locations of copenhagen. I would like to thank Mr. Sumanji, reception of hotel ( from Nepal) for the wonderful cooperation during my and my family's stay
Last year I stayed at Generator Hostel Copenhagen for 2 nights during a short trip, and it turned out to be a really good experience. The location is excellent; very close to Nytorv station and within walking distance of some attractions like Nyhavn and Rosenborg Castle. The room was a bit small, but cozy and comfortable for a short stay. The washroom was also compact, but manageable and well-equipped with basic toiletries like shower gel. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. They also provided lockers, some even with charging points, which was very convenient. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it easy to get everything you need. Overall, the place was clean, well-maintained, and better than I expected for a hostel. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it for short visits to Copenhagen.
The hotel was clean and comfortable overall. The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn’t great, so it could get a bit noisy at night. But the location was excellent and super convenient for getting around, which definitely made the stay worthwhile.
A friend recommended this hotel because of it's great location, it didn't dissapoint. The location was perfect, walking distance to prertt much everything worth seeing in Copenhagen. Price is great too however, if you prefer fancy hotels then this is not for you.
4.5 stars out of 5 as it’s a great location, good price we paid £277 for 4 nights for 2 of us in a private room that we got free upgraded to a family room. The only little complaint we had was dealt with quickly and rectified. The a la carte breakfast and the dinner food in the bar is amazing. We had scrambled eggs and bacon on toast and tried a few of the burgers over the nights we were here and all of it was fantastic. The staff are friendly polite and welcoming. The beds are comfy and the cleaner even changed our bedding and towels during the visit and the location is about a mile to Tivoli gardens and a mile to the little mermaid and everything else is under a mile. Couldn’t recommend more!
