Operating out of a functioning, historic gas station, they grind their organic beef daily to produce one of the world's most celebrated, no-nonsense burgers.

We half expected this to be mediocre food in a novelty location, but both the cheeseburger and the truffle fries were remarkably good. The beef in particular was very succulent and the cheese nicely crisped. Queues can be long - sometime we saw it around 20 - 30 mins, but we were lucky at 10 mins. Service is efficient with staff working really hard to compete with the relentless queues. There are a range of picnic tables to each at, but beware that the petrol pumps are real operating petrol stations and cars need access despite the queues.

There was a queue when we arrived at this place and we waited for about 20 mins from ordering to receiving the burger. We tried the double cheeseburger and throughly enjoyed it. All the elements in this burger compliment each other and goes really well. I liked the salty bits of the meat patty as well. Overall you should try this place atleast once to decide if you love it or hate it.

One of the best burgers I’ve had. Very simple menu, great meat, perfectly cooked, and well balanced. Everything tastes clean and focused. Busy place, but very well run. Worth the wait.

Gasoline Grill was a big disappointment for me. I had high expectations because of the hype, but it doesn’t come close to brands like Salt or Shake Shack in Dubai. The burger was overly greasy and lacked balance in flavor. The place feels overhyped rather than truly great. I also noticed some hygiene issues, which is not acceptable at this price point. Tried it once, won’t be coming back.

You need to come to the original location of Gasoline Grill in Copenhagen to instantly understand where their name comes from. They serve burgers in the former shop of a downtown gas station near Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv. Interestingly, the place is still a functioning gas station to this day. You can fill up your car, or charge it, while waiting for your burger. The gas station is fully automatic though, no need for a cashier. That’s how the famous gas station burger occupied the former shop area and is serving probably the best burger in Copenhagen. There is a limited menu in Gasoline Grill, but I think that’s just how a great street food burger place should operate. We tasted the two most iconic ones, original burger and cheeseburger, and prefer the latter.
