Went to this club with a few friends, most of us Asian, after being told by a promoter that we were on the VIP list and didn’t need to worry about getting in. When we arrived, the security guards and bouncer were extremely rude and dismissive. They told us they didn’t like us and that we wouldn’t be getting in at all that night, with no explanation. We tried to clarify things multiple times and even talked to other staff, but they dismissed us and started talking to the other people in line. We ended up waiting over two hours for nothing. The whole experience felt blatantly racist and disrespectful. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re not White.

A girl had some issues getting her jacket and purse back from the personal. While discussing rather calmly she got violently thrown out by the doormen because of their policy of “no discussing”. The whole scene left me with a bad impression of the whole night. Besides from that the people in the club were quite teritorial on the dancefloor and would just push you offensively when wanting to pass you. The music was the same that already played when I went clubbing 15 years ago. Drinks were quite expensive: almost 10€ for a small beer and cocktails were mostly ice with watery soda.

Can’t recommend Chateau Motel enough. Such an amazing club with the best environment and people. Staff are fantastic and friendly, the wait time to get in is also minimal, Prices are reasonable and within budget. One of the reasons I keep coming back to Copenhagen every month.

They forcefully and violently dragged a girl out of the club and took her bag without her consent and kept it with them and claimed that she couldn’t retrieve it until 5 am. In the bag there were important documents and when they literally threw her out of the local they didn’t even gave her back her jackets. It IS illegal this degree of violence and to take from a person their ID documents or other important documents or things like medication. This seems to not be an isolated case but rather a repeated behavior that the local is tolerating, putting into risk the life and safety of their customers. BE CAREFUL. I’m giving one star but if I could I would have given negative stars.

Hi we were on the list had a reservation when we got there the promoter/security asked us to pay 4000kr for a table even thoughg we have had a reservation and were only suppost to pay for entrance. Avoid this club they just want to rob you
