One of the loveliest places that we have ever stayed - very unassuming from outside but once inside it was exceptional. Our room was spacious, comfortable had a super bed and we both slept very well. The hotel broadly was quiet and the service from staff was ever friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also lovely - prioritising quality over variety. The location is also worth noting - only a very short walk from the HBF and thus the city centre. Highly recommended - we intend to seek out Hotel Antonius in other German cities when we return.
A very pleasant old building. The rooms were spacious and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good. All in all an very pleasant hotel. Staff at reception were very helpful. Although I didn't use the restaurant/bar it looked very cosy and stylish. Parking wasn't a problem as the hotel shares a car park with the music school. Excellent. The is a yard with seating and tables. It looks like it would be a wonderful place to sit in the spring and summer when temperatures rise.
The hotel is conveniently to public transport and the cathedral as well as other sites. There are restaurants and shop within a few minutes walk. The hotel is very welcoming, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I would highly recommend the hotel for exploring Koln but also for exploring the wider area, due to the proximity to the central train station we also visited Bonn and Dusseldorf.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and surprisingly good pillows, which made for a great night’s sleep. The furniture and lighting were beautifully chosen and added a very elegant atmosphere to the space. The restaurant was excellent – especially the breakfast, which was truly exceptional. A real highlight of our stay. The hotel is located close to the central station, which is very convenient, yet the area itself is peaceful and quiet. It’s also situated in a historic building, which gives it a unique and charming character. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again.
I love this hotel! The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and funny. To be honest, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel in such a great location. I plan on staying here again on my next visit.
