Everything here was amazing. The Bathrooms were beautiful with seperate locking showers with a space to change. Towels were included, as was free ingwer shots, free coffee and a big, free selection tea. The breakfast cost extra 11.50 euro but was very much worth it. The Cappucino was even automatically made with milk! There are changing food trucks infront that cooperate with the hostel, so you can get dinner. The female dorm was big enough, with huge lockers that close and open with the keycard. The beds were huge (a double mattress) with curtains. The best part was definitely the decor, with quirky, unique rooms. Everything was super clean. Can't wait to come here again. The front desk clerk Margarita was very friendly and even gave me a coin for a free soda. So much love for this place!
My friends and I had drinks here, had so much fun with the silent disco! service was good, mostly thanks to Sophie, who served us and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Will come back here again for sure!
I traveled around Europe for 2 weeks back in June, and this was one of the very best hostels that I stayed in during those 2 weeks. I stayed here for 1 night, in a shared dorm. I chose it because it was reasonably easy to get to/from the city, and also because it suited my super low budget. The hostel has an old skool, 70's look to it that you will either love or hate depending on your style but, overall, the building is very clean and very well maintained. Pros: The biggest, most spacious bed that I've ever had in a shared dorm in a hostel, as well as being one of the comfiest mattresses and pillows that I've ever had in a hostel!! I also loved how much privacy I had with the curtain. It also had the biggest storage locker I've ever had in a hostel, right in the room! The hostel and surrounding area in general seemed very quiet, but there was still plenty of energy and nightlife nearby for anyone who wants it. The hostel is about a 30 minute walk to town, but there's also plenty of trains nearby that will take you right into the heart of town. The bathroom and shower areas were one of the best and well maintained that I've seen! Cons: I don't really have any. I guess my biggest criticism was that the bar staff were not the friendliest when I first arrived, which I thought was quite unusual and disappointing, especially for a hostel bar... and that's coming from an Irish guy who has worked in bars for years. Overall, a great place to stay. Very clean, tidy, spacious, and well looked after! I would absolutely stay here again and would absolutely recommend it!
This is not just a hostel! The place is an experience. Every room is designed differently than another. The showers and toilets are very clean and nice, and you’ll be given a bed with fresh sheets and a towel. The staff are nice. Definitely recommend.
Really good location and clean rooms and facilities. Stayed in a private and was reasonably priced. Bathrooms are shared but showers are in individual rooms and close by to the rooms. Bar downstairs is very popular, even with locals. There’s a ping pong table everyone plays on which makes it very easy to meet people. WiFi also good for remote work, and nice common area with free ginger shots, tea & coffee.
