We stayed at Waldorf Astoria Chicago for a staycation to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had such a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing and even surprised us with a room upgrade, which made the stay feel extra special. Our room was beautiful with gorgeous views, and everything felt clean, comfortable, and luxurious. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. The location is perfect — right in the Gold Coast with so many great restaurants and shops nearby. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
What a phenomenal stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago. My wife and I are so grateful that words can only express a fraction of how special we feel. To the Concierge Team - Judson thank you again for reaching out and helping to setup the elevated experience... it was executed to perfection! Logan, you are exceptional (the thoughtful special gestures we will never forget). We enjoyed your restaurant recommendation and the special place to catch the fireworks. Miche, thank you so much for a flawless execution on all levels. Your ability to think fast and pivot, plus remembering the details makes you outstanding my friend. To the Front Desk Team - Thank you ALL, we enjoyed your smiles each time we were in the lobby. Fernando and Anais, you both are so personable and we really enjoyed getting to know you. Thank you for everything, the rooms are so nice and we got to use the fireplace. Looking forward to staying again in the short future. Wishing you ALL the very BEST.
Had such a great stay at Waldorf Astoria Chicago. The location was perfect and made it so easy to get around the city. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms were amazing and the fireplace in the room was such a cozy touch and something I’d never experienced before. Loved the town car service too, such a nice extra. We also had drinks and tapas at Bernard’s which was really nice. What really made the stay though was the staff, everyone was so friendly and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Would definitely stay here again!
The Waldorf Astoria is a beautiful blend of modern elegance and classic tradition in Chicago’s stunning Gold Coast neighborhood. The property is beautiful throughout, and the courtyard upon arrival feels almost magical. From the moment you step into the elegant lobby beneath the stunning crystal chandelier, you immediately feel immersed in the atmosphere. We were upgraded to a one-bedroom suite that had all the bells and whistles and more: luxurious linens, top-of-the-line amenities, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the city. Our children were warmly welcomed with signature Waldorf teddy bears, robes, coloring books, and even a play tent, which was the highlight of their day. Upon returning on our first evening, we were surprised with a thoughtful handwritten note and a box of macarons, such a lovely and memorable touch. What truly set our stay apart was the exceptional service, especially from Sheryl in Concierge. She was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond to secure reservations at some of the city’s hardest-to-book restaurants, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. At one dinner, the restaurant even presented us with a beautiful platter of sweets compliments of the hotel—something we had never experienced before, despite many stays at luxury properties around the world. The hotel also features a serene spa and excellent fitness facilities, adding even more to the experience. Overall, it was a wonderful family stay in Chicago, and the Waldorf Astoria truly elevated our trip in every way.
I loved everything about my experience here. The staff was really nice (with the exception of the lady at the front desk of the spa. She was snippy for some reason when I was asking questions). I enjoyed the pool, the restaurant and speakeasy and just how attentive everyone was. The rooms where phenomenal and the room service selections were top tier. Definitely recommend.
