One thing I love about the James, and I’ve been a few times already, is that their service is impeccable. It is some of the best service that I’ve ever had in Casablanca and they’re with Staff is always on point. The food is also pretty good. I would say the guacamole was way too smooth for any guacamole I’ve ever had but still the flavors were right. The sushi is fine. If you’ve had good sushi and specifically Japanese style sushi Casablanca sushi is an experience. It’s the equivalent of a California roll all the time. Aside from that the Real stand out at the James are their drinks. They have a great bartender who knows what they’re doing and no matter if it’s the Prosecco selection or the mixed cocktails their drinks are top-notch in terms of what you can find in Casablanca. I wouldn’t say that the bartender will be winning any awards for the Mixology portion, but the consistency is key here and it is there. Recommended only for adults and if you have an allergy to cigarette smoke, I recommend showing up a little bit earlier, maybe when they open. I’ve been extremely lucky to get in pretty early and order what I need without the cigarette smoke and packing the meal and that has really made the experience even better. But no that later in the evening they do have a DJ playing electronic music that you cannot have a conversation over and people will start chain-smoking. So plan accordingly if that is not your thing.

A lovely dining experience with a calm, elegant atmosphere. The grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, served with crisp fries and fresh vegetables. The creamy mushroom dish was rich and full of flavour comfort food done beautifully.
