ILOLI is honestly an incredible restaurant — like, the food is genuinely amazing and the overall quality is top tier. Everything feels well executed, beautifully presented, and you can tell there’s real attention to detail in the kitchen. Service is also very good, really attentive and polished… but at some point it gets a bit too present 😅 It starts feeling slightly awkward, like they’re hovering instead of just letting you enjoy the moment. A bit less checking-in would actually make it smoother. And while everything is beautiful, the experience itself isn’t super immersive — it doesn’t fully pull you into a “wow moment” the way the setting promises. That being said, it’s still an absolutely awesome restaurant. Worth going, 100%.
Truly nice place. A warm welcome, friendly service, very tasty food. We sat in the counter to watch the show in the kitchen.
The sushi chefs are extremely talented and kind! Raymond & Joe answered all our questions, showed us their amazing skills, and were very professional during our meal! I highly recommend sitting at the bar to have an interactive experience watching their artistry and having conversations with them! The restaurant was very busy but they still took the time to help us :) Food was amazing! We got the mote mote set menu and it was so delicious! Every bite was worth it, even the vegetables! The dinner experience watching them prepare our food added more fun as well. Only reason a star was removed for service was due to the waiter service. He was satisfactory but hard to communicate due to language barrier, only Raymond & Joe could tell us about our detailed inquiries for the menu.
We had an absolutely outstanding dinner at Iloli. The atmosphere is modern and refined, but it was the hospitality and the food that truly made the night. I opted for the Omakase, which was a masterclass in Japanese technique using fresh Moroccan ingredients. Every course was a surprise and beautifully presented. My wife is gluten-free, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Even though she ordered directly from the menu rather than the tasting set, the team took great care to ensure her meal was safe and delicious. Often, finding high-quality GF options in a Japanese fine-dining setting can be a challenge, but at Iloli, the quality was top-tier across the board. The staff were attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely looked after. If you’re in Casablanca and looking for a world-class culinary experience, Iloli is a must-visit! Tip: If you can, try to grab a seat at the kitchen counter to watch the chefs at work it adds a whole other level to the experience!
Very disappointing experience. I went there with high expectations and left extremely disappointed. I ordered the, and I quote, “Ramen aux fruits de mer” (ramen with seafood). The closest thing to seafood was the fishy smell of the broth. Not a single piece of seafood was in the dish. When I told the waiter about my disappointment, he came back saying that the head chef claimed this is how the dish is prepared. Nothing was done about it, despite me leaving the dish unfinished. I hate to write negative reviews, but this one is very much deserved. I’m extremely shocked by how this was handled and by the quality of the dish. Excuse me? 18 euros for ramen with just a broth??????
