The main entrance to the walled city. Come and walk the wall. Gets very busy at times. The best time to go is when there's not any ships in port. There's many aggressive vendors/ performers & message offerings. But overall a very beautiful city with plenty to offer there's many types of restaurants, markets, nearby attractions, beaches, UNESCO sites, tours and nightlife. Clubs and rooftop parties are nightly. It takes more than a day to see the beautiful Getsemani. Be careful and enjoy Colombia. 🇨🇴
Great walk with cannons pointing at the sea as they've done for more than a hundred years. Plenty of history here! I was told to go at sunset and we were glad we did. Seeing the sunset in that atmosphere was really cool! There are cafes up there with music n great people! Highly recommend it!
This felt like main entrance to the old city. We really enjoyed our cruise port day exploring the old city. Negotiating deals with street vendors. Eating bites of food here and there. It was a wonderful day.
Beautiful historic power of Patagonia, a must see and visit for photos, but also to orient yourself in the old city. I was lucky enough to be here in December to see it surrounded by the most incredible Christmas decoration .
This is just the beggining of one of the highlights of the beautiful city of Cartagena! Come and explore this amazing place. A Jewel of the Caribbean in Colombia
