Kinda a difficult place to review. The building and beds themselves are really cool, comfy beds and a neat concept. But there are significant problems that make this place unpleasant to stay at. Three bathrooms for like 20 people is pretty gross, and while the staff tries to keep it clean it seems to be impossible. The location is so central that there’s always noise, which is manageable. The real issue seems to lay in who comes to the hostel. In the two nights we stayed we were woken up by really loud people in the night both nights. I get that it’s not the fault of the hostel, but it does seems to attract people who don’t care. Add in the cockroaches in the kitchen and lack of AC during the day and I’m not sure it’s worth the money you’re saving staying elsewhere

Absolutely horrible. This place used to be one of the nicer, if not the nicest, hostels in Cartagena. But now it is filthy and rundown. Further, the A/C is barely turned on, and with no windows at all, the dorm room with the beds feels EXTREMELY uncomfortable. It must be about 85 degrees F in there, NOT exaggerating. This makes it so hard to sleep and relax. When asked for assistance, the employees kept saying they were going to fix the issue, but never did anything about it. The hostel lost power for 5 hours during one day, despite all Local businesses having power. The showers are absolutely gross, with a bunch of hair all over the floors. The showers also don't drain the water correctly, so you end up stepping in all the dirty water when you. I could go on, but you get the point. This hostel is filthy, blistering hot, and generally extremely uncomfortable. HARD pass.

It’s in old town, it’s near to everything. Safe and good place. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good. Only negative point is they have 3 bathroom on 20 people so most of the times bathrooms are occupied. There are few bathrooms in other rooms but still there are also 20 people so…

Very well located but that’s probably the only good thing about this hostel… We stayed there for 3 nights in a private room with no windows. The shower leaks everywhere and they don’t provide anything to clean the floor. One night, it rained a lot and we noticed a leak in our bathroom ceiling. We told the guy at the front desk and he just said he would clean. We asked for commercial gesture but he said they can’t control the weather « well, sure but you can definitely fix your ceiling so it doesn’t leak right ? ». That’s really BS especially in a region where it rains like that ALL the time. They ended up giving us another room but never fixed anything. The breakfast is ok, fruits and scrambled eggs, good way to start the day. You indeed need to wash you owns dishes but no big deal.

Very good friendly hostel, the waterfall brings joy, and the kind ladies with the morning eggs bring joy. Urmann and Jorge ensure you are safe and they bring joy. The hostel is very good.
