We had an absolutely wonderful dinner here to celebrate our anniversary and my partner’s birthday. The location was absolutely beautiful and we sat outside, the setting is very intimate and before we were seated we were given a small introduction about the history of the building. The service by the team was better than we have experienced in many fine dining and Michelin restaurants in Europe, everyone was very friendly and invested in our vacation in Colombia. We had the ten course set menu with legendary wine pairing and had some pairings that amazed and surprised us. Overall we would recommend this to everyone visiting Cartagena!

We ended our Cartagena trip with the 10-course menu at 1621 with the regular wine pairing, and it was an excellent experience. Every dish and wine pairing was thoughtfully done and thoroughly enjoyed. We especially appreciated that, except for the dessert wine, the selections leaned toward well-balanced, drier wines with refreshing notes—exactly our style. Despite the 10 courses, the meal felt perfectly balanced, and we left comfortably satisfied, not overly full. Service was outstanding, with detailed explanations of both the dishes and wines. While the interior is beautiful, dining outside in the garden made the evening even more special. Note that the reservation is required and the experience lasts about 3–4 hours, and each wine pour is about half a glass, which felt just right. Highly recommend 1621 for a memorable dining experience in Cartagena.

An incredible culinary experience and a beautiful place. We celebrated our anniversary there with my partner and were pleasantly surprised with a lovely dessert. We had the ten-course dinner with wines, and it was truly amazing. Everything was beautifully presented and explained, and the taste was simply heavenly. The service was simply incredible as well everyone was extremely kind and attentive.

Absolutely incredible culinary experience all the way around. Chef was incredibly accommodating as one of us did not eat beef. The meal and service were second to none. We have eaten at Michelin star restaurants all over the world. This was probably one of the best dining experiences ever, from start to finish.

Did the 10 course tasting menu. I usually leave these still very hungry, it was the perfect amount of food. One after the other the dishes were perfect. It met all my dietary restrictions. The staff was friendly, knowledgable, and let me practice my Spanish with them. The small details didn't go unnoticed. 10/10 experience, would definitely return
