For the age of the building, the property itself is quite lovely. Both pools are very enjoyable and the location is perfect, close to everything but not too loud. Never felt crowded by other guests. Breakfast is good and service is top-notch. If I had any complaints at all, it would be the pillows. Woke up with a neck ache every day. They were too thin to be comfortable.

We LOVED our stay at Casa Claver. The location is PERFECT and walkable to almost everything (and inexpensive Ubers come fast anyway). The staff is welcoming, kind, and so helpful (even before arrival!). The property itself is BEAUTIFUL. The rooftop terrace is so lovely and has a great view. The pool is small but our kids loved it! We were in the two bedroom loft and it was well appointed and SO much bigger in person. We could have stayed for weeks. Even though the hotel is an older open air building the a/c keeps the rooms very comfortable (remember to close the doors). They also bring your breakfast selection directly to your room, which was a treat for everyone. We did not want to leave and will definitely stay again if we are ever back in Cartagena.

Casa Claver Loft Boutique Hotel was INCREDIBLE. I was traveling with a group of six, and we had originally booked an Airbnb. However, when we arrived, we were shocked by how dirty it was and how different it looked from the photos. Desperate to find a new place to stay, I stumbled upon Casa Claver Loft Boutique Hotel—and Benjamin at the front desk truly saved our trip. His top-tier service, clear communication, and calm support during a high-stress moment will never be forgotten. When he described the loft, I asked if I could see it, and I was blown away the SECOND I opened the door by the incredible design, layout, bathrooms, and bedrooms. We had ample AC and there was even a washer and drier in the unit. This ended up being one of the best stays during our week in Colombia. Everyone in our group commented on how comfortable the beds were and how great the shower pressure and provided products were. Breakfast was included and delivered to our room. It was wonderful, fresh and a great way to start our day. We had to check out super early and they even arranged coffees, juice and croissants to go. The rooftop is absolutely stunning, and the location is unbeatable. They even have an elevator—no lugging bags upstairs! Even though the hotel is in the heart of the city, we had no issues with noise at all. Thank you Casa Claver Loft Boutique Hotel for such an incredible stay and great service.

Fabulous hotel at awesome location in Cartagena. Looks inconspicuous from the outside as is most of the lovely places in Cartagena. Once you are inside you can appreciate almost every part of it- be it the luxurious loft apartments, the roof top pools, the sit up area. Located right in the middle of the walled city everything is within walking distance including the world famous cathedrals, plazas,restaurants, malls, cafes or shopping locations. Service is top notch and they serve breakfast right to your dining table in the loft if you are booked in one of those. We got an upgrade for the rooms and we enjoyed every bit of it.
