First time in Kalk. Loved the scenery, this cafe is in a busy part of town on the main road. The pastries caught our eye. They also offered cocktail specials between 4-6 pm. The two guys at the counter were very helpful and welcoming. I would suggest keeping the pastry display clean since people are sometimes interested in getting a picture/video of what’s on offer. The pastries were delicious, with excellent portion size, and it’s rare to get a genuinely good carrot cake but this was awesome.

Went to Lekker in Kalk Bay for breakfast and really enjoyed the cozy, laid-back atmosphere. The portions were generous and filling, and the staff were super friendly and easy to chat with. The food did take quite a while to come out!!! but they kindly gave us a dessert on the house (to celebrate the birthday of one of us), which was a really nice touch and definitely appreciated. Overall, a warm and welcoming spot with great service — would go back again! * For those who don't eat pork, they can substitute bacon for avocado or egg or mushroom 👍🏼

Visited on a Saturday morning - was quite busy but was able to get a table straight away! Had the avo toast and a chai latte - both very tasty! Very friendly waiters who provided quick service! Overall, very highly recommended when paying a visit to Kalk Bay! :-) ☕☕☕
