I had a wonderful experience at Gorgeous George Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the security staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a great first impression. The receptionist was professional, warm and very helpful throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Wendy, who was more than welcoming and truly made the experience feel personal and comfortable with her kindness and hospitality. The hotel itself has a beautiful atmosphere, and the overall service was excellent. It’s definitely a place I would recommend for anyone looking for a stylish and welcoming stay in Cape Town. ✨
We recently stayed at the Gorgeous George for 4 nights at the end of our stay and loved it! We were in a 1 bedroom apartment which had plenty of room, the bed was big and comfortable (we have found that some SA speaking beds were short- this was not the case here), the bathroom was oversized and finally a hotel with black out curtains!!! I slept so well! ✅ Amazing staff ✅ Restaurant vibes and food were great, best breakfast we had during our trip. ✅ staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. 24/7 door staff and receptionist ✅ hotel felt safe and welcoming ✅ location is fab, right next to markets and on a pedestrian street. Easy to walk to bo Kap etc and about R500 to get to the V&A via uber I would highly recommend booking in to Gorgeous George while you are in Cape Town
We didn’t stay at the hotel but we came for lunch on a few occasions. We had the pleasure of having Bernie as our wonderful server and she was amazing! Super friendly and very welcoming. Giving us all the best recs. the food and drink here is also amazing! Definitely a great lunch/ drinks spot. When the sun is out, it’s Even more amazing
Amazing option if you're looking to stay in City Centre. Stayed here for 3 nights on honeymoon. Rooms were well-appointed and clean. Service and staff were friendly. We hit the pool and had an awesome time. They serve you a complimentary welcome cocktail that is legit the best drink I've ever had in my life. We were obsessed with Gigi Rooftop and went there every day for a delicious gourmet breakfast and ended up there for dinner one night too. One of the waitstaff Sizwe made us feel especially welcome and went above and beyond to make our meals special. AMAZING place.
The food was well prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. Winnie provided excellent service with impressive wine knowledge and great salesmanship, making the overall dining experience outstanding. Will definitely be coming back again!
