After finally finding the house on a busy road..entering it and then the WOW wow wow. Most beautiful. The art on the wall. The art gallery. What really amazed me was the Wine gallery ..the amount of detail that was done there . The tour from Moses was outstanding. Service thru out our one nights stay was magnificent.

A trip to Ellerman House is something few people forget. The hotel from the outside is unassuming and doesn't scream for attention. On the inside, it is an art museum with a 5-Star hotel underneath. The hotel has only 13 rooms and two large villas. All around the property are paintings and sculptures that or unique and from all over the world. The staff outnumber the guests by a lot. Service is next level and very personal. This is a hotel that makes you feel like a Lord in his own mansion. It's not a place to go to people watch or be seen. It's a place that demands attention on its own. The views are awe inspiring. If you visit in winter go there early. One hour before sunset so you can experience the sunset from the top looking down at the ocean. In high season the hotel has limited capacity for dinner guests. Reservations are a must. There are no walk-ins. I've been to this hotel multiple times during my stay in Cape Town and will be a regular visit next time I go for sure. A trip to Cape Town is not complete until you experience this place. Oh did I tell you about the art gallery on the property? Don't get me started..

Our stay at Ellerman House was absolutely exceptional from start to finish! Everything—from the breathtaking views and elegant rooms to the warm, personal service—made us feel completely at home. The food was phenomenal, and every meal felt like a fine dining experience. The attention to detail and genuine care shown by the entire team truly set this place apart. A special thank you to Marilie Prinsloo, the wonderful House Manager, for her kindness and professionalism, and to Michelle for her warm hospitality and constant attentiveness throughout our stay. You both made our time in Cape Town even more memorable.
