This place has lost it to us. We came here for the first time 12 years ago. Yes prices have to increase but we are now paying double of what we used to pay. That alone wouldn’t be as problematic if the food had kept its portion size and quality. But when we ordered the Chicken Vindaloo at the Punjabi stand we were disappointed. Big portion of rice, half a bowl of dhal, some veggies and then the curry which basically consisted of 2 massive potatoes and 1 small piece of chicken. That cost R100 - which for a fast food venue is a lot. When we went to complain to the kitchen manager at the Punjabi stand he just told us we have eaten already, should have brought our plate of food and that it’s not his business but we should complain to management. We didn’t end up doing that and just accepted that this is how you are treated here as a customer. Also the tables aren’t clean and they could use someone to clean the upstairs area now and then. We don’t think this is asked too much of a venue with such a high turnover. The curry was actually super hot but the taste was good also the dhal wasn’t bad, but this type of service just leaves us with no intention of coming back. You did do and you can do better Eastern Food Bazaar!

It's a happening to go there as a tourist. It's very affordable and huge portions of food. We tried the famous bunny chow and couldn't even fully finish that huge portions 😂 I recommend sharing one. Great atmosphere tho. We had great chats with locals here too. Will come again ♥️
Loved the deco the most. The food was an addes bonus. Beautiful carved indian and arabic doors lined the walls. Can get a bit busy but worth the wait. No fuss no glitz just comfort food and warm friendly faces.
Different delicious cuisines are available. Moderate price and quantity is good for more than a person like me! Kebab, wraps and little indian dishes are available. Turkish wrap was delicious, Ice-cream corner was a good number of mixtures.. Spacious!!
