An absolutely magical experience at the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town ✨🌸 We visited for Afternoon Tea and were completely enchanted from the very first moment. The atmosphere is elegant, timeless, and full of charm, from the beautiful gardens to the live piano music and the iconic pink surroundings. The tea selection and pastries were exceptional, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. You can truly feel the soul and hospitality of this historic hotel in every detail. A special compliment to the entire team for creating such a welcoming and refined experience. It felt like stepping into another world for a few hours. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful high tea experiences we have ever had. Highly recommended when visiting Cape Town 💕☕

An exceptional property with outstanding hospitality and beautiful rooms! Our stunning one bedroom suite was so spacious and well thought out and the staff were so kind and went above and beyond. I especially enjoyed taking advantage of high tea, drinks around the fountain, the exceptional buffet breakfast at Oasis, the spa facilities with a facial and the state of the art gym. Finally, the hotel is perfectly situated on Kloof Street with easy access to all the best restaurants and bars but within its quiet oasis. Highly recommend!

High Tea at Mount Nelson I had the absolute pleasure of attending the High Tea at your hotel, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I entered, I was welcomed with warmth and elegance that set the tone for a truly memorable afternoon. - Ambience: The setting was refined yet inviting, with a perfect balance of sophistication and comfort. The attention to detail in the décor created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and relaxing. - Service: The staff were attentive, gracious, and genuinely hospitable. Every interaction was marked by professionalism and kindness, making me feel valued and cared for throughout the experience. - Tea Selection: The variety of teas offered was impressive, showcasing both classic favorites and unique blends. Each cup was brewed to perfection, highlighting the richness and subtlety of the flavors. - Culinary Delights: The assortment of pastries, scones, and savory bites was exquisite. Every item was beautifully presented and tasted divine, reflecting the skill and creativity of your culinary team. - Overall Experience: It was more than just a High Tea—it was a celebration of taste, tradition, and hospitality. I left feeling uplifted, pampered, and eager to return. Your High Tea is a true gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional and unforgettable experience.

An absolutely magical Afternoon Tea experience at the Afternoon high tea at Belmond Mount Nelson. From the moment we sat down on the sun-dappled terrace, everything was simply perfect. Impeccable service from Momkitha, who made us feel wonderfully looked after throughout, beautifully presented finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream, and an exquisite selection of pastries. The pink hotel backdrop, the crisp linen, and the elegant glassware (rosé champagne in coupes! A lovely touch!) made it feel like stepping into another era. A true Cape Town institution and an experience I would recommend to anyone visiting the Mother City. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, outstanding Hotel. Visited the Planet Bar and sat in their beautiful gardens. Spent our last evening having a meal with friends. The food was outstanding, best fillet of beef I have ever had. All the staff made us feel so welcome. The table service was excellent. Thank you for making our last evening in Cape Town so memorable.
