More about the full dinner-and-night-out package than pure gastronomy, but it is one of the more recognizable upscale rooms on the strip. Go if you want a lively, expensive evening that starts at the table.

Taboo was an amazing immersive dining experience in Cancún! I've never experienced such personalized service, our waiter was more than attentive, frequently rounding and providing the best dining experience possible. We had a romantic dinner out, and while we don't usually go out for a pricey dinner, I can say that the money was 100% worth it!! They have amazing live enetetaibment and the atmosphere is 1000/10!!! They have locations throughout Mexico, Spain and some in the US and each of their restaurants is a different cuisine. I found this very interesting and I'm looking forward to trying the rest of their restaurants!! I couldn't have asked for a better server 🦁 and staff to help us have an amazing night out!! 🫶🏼🇲🇽
Is Taboo pricey?! Yes! But it is so much fun!! Rodolfo runs a great team and we had so much fun. We traveled with two teenage boys and they were wildly entertained as were my husband and I. The hookah was so fun and the tomahawk was perfectly prepared table side. The food was all excellent and the service was attentive. The entertainment was unique and awesome! We will be back!
Food and atmosphere is amazing! And our server, Jose was fantastic! 10 out of 10. This is Mexico baby!! It’s like being in a Mayfair in London. See and be seen! Great food loud music, fire sparkles; sax Player it just doesn’t stop!
Pricey? Yes. Worth the visit? Definitely yes. The place is beautifully designed — truly stunning from the moment you walk in. The pasta alla vodka is outstanding, and the burger is also highly recommended. On top of that, they serve a delicious complimentary appetizer, which is a great touch. A fantastic dining experience all around!
When visiting Cancún, two of my absolute favorite dinner spots are Taboo and Rosa Negra. The entire experience is on another level amazing food, great music, nonstop energy, and a staff that’s always on point. The vibe is lit from start to finish. If you’re into a high-energy dining atmosphere with incredible music, Taboo is the place to be. I highly recommend making reservations, and if you can, grab a spot in the center lounge area with the couches. Order a hookah, get some drinks, and get ready to enjoy the moment.
