One of the most useful hostel-style bases for social travelers, with a rooftop pool and a location that makes downtown logistics easy. It is a strong choice if you want a hostel that still feels organized.

I had an amazing experience at Nomads Hostel! The entire place is incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made my stay super comfortable from start to finish. The staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about creating a great environment for travelers. There are activities every single day of the week, so it’s easy to meet people and always have something fun to do. They also give fantastic recommendations for things to see, eat, and explore, which made experiencing the area so much easier and more enjoyable. I especially appreciated how warm and friendly all of the volunteers were. Ruby in particular went above and beyond to make everyone feel included and at home. Her energy and kindness really stood out! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, social, and welcoming hostel experience.
As a frequent traveler between the United States and Latin America, I have stayed in many hotels and hostels over the years. Nomads Hotel & Hostel is one of the few places that consistently exceeds expectations. The property is clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and located in an excellent area for exploring Cancún. What truly makes the experience special is the atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel welcome and part of a community rather than just another guest. I would like to thank Fernando for his professionalism and dedication to creating a great experience for travelers. I would also like to recognize Arturo Vale, whose hospitality and positive attitude leave a lasting impression on everyone he meets. Whether you are a backpacker, digital nomad, or simply looking for a comfortable place to stay, I highly recommend Nomads. It is a place I continue to return to and confidently recommend to friends and fellow travelers. — Anthony Watson
Very nice hostel/hotel with cool vibes! Ale at the reception was very pleasant upon arrival and very helpful when I had an issue with the safe in my room. The volunteers in the hostel made vibe even better especially Nasir and Kiara. They were very welcoming and organised great activities. Carlos also organised a very informative taco tour that took us on a journey through history of Mexican food! The rooftop is lively till past midnight, so prepare for some noise at night bit easily solved with earplugs.
I stayed in this hostel and I really loved it. Super clean, the staff were super friendly, and they have loads of different activities every day so if you are a solo traveler, it is so easy to meet new people. Also I love that there is a rooftop pool and bar, the food is great in the restaurant by the way. Overall I’m really happy I stayed here
The private rooms here are really cute. Also most of the staff is amazing. They help you with everything and all your questions. There are nice activities to join. The pool area is great aswell and we felt safe in the area. The busses are near by and supermarkets etc. aswell. So why 2 stars? Well I think the private rooms are really expensive for what you get. The rooms are really(!!!) noisy, and I mean realllyyyy. The doors slam so you will wake up from that. But the worst part is, if you are in a room at the back of the hostel, it's like a party into your room. And yes it needs to be quiet at 11pm (they say 11pm but it's flexible because there was still lots of noise a LONG time after). I don't book an expensive! private room to be in some kind of bar. Because that's what it sounds like into the room. Maybe the rooms in the middle are better in the 2th floor (3th not because of the rooftop). In front I think they won't be good aswell since there is a restaurant/bar, open untill 2am. I could have better booked a dorm, way cheaper and maybe even less noise. Last but not least, if they close the terrace in the back of the hostel, you still won't be in peace because of the (I think) SUPER SUPER loud music of the rooftop bar. So if you want a nice/calm room and go to sleep at a normal time in peace, DON'T!!!!! go to this place.
