Set apart from the busiest part of the strip, which gives it a more secluded feel and a stronger sense of escape. Good for travelers who want to avoid the center of the action.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with NIZUC was extremely disappointing. As a guest attending a wedding at the hotel, I was shocked to discover that the room block rate offered through the wedding was significantly more expensive than rates available elsewhere. After finding a legitimate third-party booking option that was approximately $800 cheaper for the same stay, I contacted hotel management directly and provided proof of my confirmed reservation and pricing. Rather than working toward a reasonable resolution or showing any flexibility, management flatly refused to match the rate or offer any accommodation whatsoever. Their position was essentially that even with documented evidence of a substantially lower price for the exact same stay, they would not honor it. What makes this especially frustrating is that wedding guests are often expected to book within a designated room block to support the couple's event. Instead of receiving any benefit or preferred pricing, guests appear to be paying a significant premium. Being asked to spend hundreds of dollars more than the publicly available market rate feels like a penalty for attending the wedding. Luxury hospitality should be about service, fairness, and valuing guests. Unfortunately, my experience with NIZUC reflected the opposite. The property may be beautiful, but the pricing practices and management response left a very poor impression. I would strongly encourage future guests—especially those attending weddings or group events—to comparison shop carefully before booking and not assume the room block offers the best value. Very disappointing experience.
I stayed during a company event and I cannot put into words how relaxing this resort was. The staff went way beyond to make us comfortable, and welcome. From the beginning we were welcomed arriving, the maid service came morning to clean, and in the evenings to turn the bed down. The drivers that took you back and forth via golf cart with great pleasure. The staff at pools made sure you wanted for nothing! From comfortable lounge chair with fresh towels, constant checking in, delish food and constant drinks. The activities for the entire family from a children’s place with activities, paddle boarding and kayaking opportunities. Several restaurants specializing in different food, shops, gorgeous views and landscaping surrounds this property! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation with many choices this is the place to go!
This was the best resort I ever stayed at! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The resort is gorgeous. Beautiful beach and pools.. very relaxing vibe. The service is amazing and all the hotel workers are nice and friendly. Also amazing they have kosher food which was delicious. There’s water activities which are complimentary. Mel and Marco by the water sports were amazing. They patiently taught us how to do the activities and took pictures for us. Also, Daniel who worked by the front desk was so nice and helpful. We really had a great time and can’t wait to come back again!
Nizuc is an architectural masterpiece with an impressive location. The personalized service makes the stay feel exclusive, making it the perfect sanctuary for anyone seeking a quiet, almost private experience. It is undeniably beautiful. However, the value proposition is a bit tough to swallow when compared to other high-end options like Conrad Tulum or Jashita. At this price point, you expect seamless connectivity, but the Wi-Fi was unstable throughout the property and cell service with AT&T was consistently poor. While the experience is top-tier, the cost feels inflated; I would certainly return, but only if the rate was closer to half of what it is now. Additionally, there are some noisy constructions right next to the hotel onsite; I would have liked to be informed of this when booking. Please like this post if you find it useful.
Nizuc is a very nice property overall. The resort is clean, well maintained, and the service is excellent. Staff throughout the property were warm, attentive, and accommodating. We also used the babysitting service and had a very positive experience. The one area that fell short for us was the “ocean view” room. At roughly $1,600 per night, I expected a more open and direct view of the water. In reality, there are quite a few trees in front of the building. The view honestly felt closer to looking out toward a lake rather than a true oceanfront vista. Because of that, I’m not sure the ocean view category is worth the premium — a garden view may provide a very similar experience. The spa treatment itself was very good and relaxing, but the hydrotherapy circuit felt a bit underwhelming compared to other resorts in Cancun (for example, Le Blanc). The gym is well kept and has the essentials — it gets the job done, even if it’s not a standout feature of the property. Also worth noting: depending on where your room is located, you may rely on golf carts to get around the property since some buildings are a bit removed from the main areas. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with excellent service and a very relaxing atmosphere. Just manage expectations with the room view and spa amenities.
