This place is well located on one hand on the other, next to a main road, which can make the room noisy, depending which side you get. Ours was, but fortunately, we have a good sleep. But I have to say.. that’s the case everywhere in Cairo and Giza. The entrance and staircase make you worried at first but once inside, it’s quite cozy and clean. The staff is extremely welcoming and happy to help for any matters. Especially Mohamed was of great support for recommendations and organisational matters ( he found a tour for us to the White Desert) while Nour made us fantastic breakfast very early morning as we had to leave before official breakthrough hour - even twice! Thanks guys!!!
I’m pretty new to the whole hostel thing. I typically stayed in hotels in the past. This is the second hostel that I have stayed in and it was amazing. The staff was great and the rooms were super clean right in the heart of downtown in the best places to walk around in Cairo. Definitely recommend staying here!
Really enjoyed my stay at heritage Hostel, this is my second time staying at the hostel but in the new location, and it was all really lovely. Its location is perfect within Cairo, the staff are super welcoming and warm and the rooms are really good. Thanks so much !
We were scammed by another hostel in the same building and they were super nice to take us. It was super nice to get their help in such a stressful moment. I wished I had booked with them directly in the first place. Really nice people!
The king room with the balcony is alright and expected from the price. I booked on Booking.com and had a seemless check-in process. I arrived early and they were able to store my luggage at the reception. The air conditioning is perfect and the lowest is 20 degrees. There is little space however in the room itself and I almost couldn't open up my luggage all the way. The bed is comfortable enough and the room itself is clean. My only complain is that the room is directly infront of the check-in desk, like 1-2 ft away only so I could hear everything happening outside very easily. They have laundry service. 15 egp for each piece of clothing. Some clothes still had stains on it, while some did not. With all that said, this is a good accommodation for people on a budget
