We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The rooms are clean and cosy. Room service is very polite and attentive. There is an outdoor pool with warm water that my kids enjoyed very much. The buffet in the mornings is very good: any kind of food that you would think of, fresh fruit and juices, everything high-quality and nourishing for the rest of the day. The staff is very kind and attentive, always asking about what else they can do for you. And the location of the hotel is very convenient, right near the main square and some sightseeing places, the metro station is also nearby.

Spent my final 2 days (after almost a month in Egypt) at the Steigenberger El-Tahrir Cairo. It was an excellent choice. The location is unbeatable, the rooms are super-comfy and well-appointed, the breakfast spread is huge and yummy, and all the hotel staff are warm, friendly and helpful - hearty thanks to Monica, at reception! I opted for a hot stone massage at the hotel spa just before leaving for the airport - it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Big thank you to my massage therapist, Walaa!! I’m ready for my long flight home!

We are currently staying at the Steinenberger and have found everything to be great. The food at breakfast and dinner has been varied, plentiful and delicious. Good wine list and delicious cocktails. The staff including the security guards, cleaning staff and the people working in the restaurant are all friendly and welcoming. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. It is located in downtown Cairo close to the old museum. Can highly recommend.
