From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the waiters, setting the tone for a great dining experience complemented by a stunning Nile view. Starters: • Beef Carpaccio: 9/10 – beautifully prepared and full of flavor. • Tuna Tartare: 7/10 – good, but not my personal favorite. Main Courses: • Veal Milanese: 10/10 – absolutely outstanding. • Truffle Pasta: 10/10 – rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. • Ravioli: 10/10 – flawless in both taste and presentation. Dessert: • Mango Dessert: 8/10 – refreshing and well balanced. The service was a solid 10/10. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and polite, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

Beware: The Bill Doesn’t Match the Menu Prices. I ordered three dishes: • Spicy potatoes ($5): so unbearably spicy that they were simply inedible. Truly a terrible dish. • Salmon carpaccio ($9): at first glance it looked beautiful on a large plate, but the moment I lifted a slice with my fork, I realized the salmon was sliced nearly transparent. The portions were so thin that one piece of salmon on a simple sushi roll would contain more fish than the entire plate. • Mushroom risotto ($15): the only dish that was acceptable, but still nothing special — very mediocre. The total for all three items was $29, and the menu showed prices both in local currency and in USD. I received the bill in local currency, paid without double-checking, and left. Only a few days later, when I checked my mobile banking, I discovered that the transaction had been processed as $42. How $29 turned into $42 remains unclear — whether they added items I didn’t order or included unauthorized charges or tips, I cannot know since I did not take the receipt. What I do know is that this should never happen in a restaurant that respects its customers. On top of this, the place leaves a very poor impression: dated early-2000s interior, cheap plastic flowers, thick rain plastic sheets, and old-fashioned heavy leather menus that have been considered outdated in the restaurant world for the past twenty years. Very disappointed. Shameful experience.

To be honest, I do not have much to complain about. The menu and prices are quite Western, and the staff were extremely nice. The food quality was good, and the view of the Nile was beautiful. Of course, the prices are above average, but that is understandable since the restaurant has a very Western vibe.

My new favourite place in Cairo. The atmosphere is great, the music is very good. The food is delicious and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. The gnocchi is a bit bland but the rest of the food was very good and authentic. It’s a great place for date night or luxury dining.

Visited in February 2026. Egypt 🇪🇬, Cairo. A stylish restaurant located on a boat with beautiful views over Cairo. The interior is designed in a dark, moody tone with an open kitchen, giving it more of an evening lounge or bar atmosphere rather than a traditional restaurant setting. FOOD: The cuisine is primarily Italian, offering appetizers, pasta, and main courses. The open kitchen adds a nice visual element to the dining experience. We started with beef tartare, which was outstanding — delicate, melt-in-the-mouth texture, perfectly balanced seasoning, and excellent meat quality. Easily the highlight of the meal. The octopus in oil was also very good. It had a slightly spicy sauce, tender tentacles cut into small pieces, and a pleasant grilled aroma and flavor. It was close to being slightly oversalted, but still delivered a bold and enjoyable taste. The pasta, however, was average. While the dough was smooth and silky, it could have been rolled thinner, and the overall composition felt heavy and somewhat bland. The shrimp tacos also felt unfinished — essentially just a breaded shrimp inside a tortilla, lacking sauces or brighter flavor elements to elevate the dish. SERVICE: Service was good but slightly slow. The restaurant was very busy, and while the staff moved quickly, they didn’t have much time to give personalized attention. VERDICT: The restaurant left mixed impressions. It feels more like a lively bar with loud music and decent food rather than a refined dining destination. We were expecting a different atmosphere — it was smoky and noisy inside. For a bar setting, the food quality is good, but for a proper dinner experience, we would likely choose another place.
