This was our second time coming to Mena house. The first time, we came as a couple; this time we brought a group of 19 people. The experience was just as wonderful as we remembered. Breakfast was an exceptional experience. Everyone raved about all of the food and fresh juices. There was enough variety that everyone found many things they really enjoyed. There were many high-quality Egyptian dishes available, which was wonderful. The service was phenomenal, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home. Amal, Mahmood, and several other people were so gracious, and took the time to get to know us and let me practice my Arabic. We left with such wonderful memories, thank you so much for this beautiful encounter!!! We will be back for sure, see you next year!
We didn't stay in the hotel as we just visited for lunch after a teip to the pyramids. Venue is lovely and lunch was nice. We had trouble getting a taxi back to our hotel and the door man was amazing. He helped me sort out an uber and spoke with the driver. Superb service. From the help of the doorman alone, I'll definitely stay here if I visit again
I stayed at the Marriott Mena House in Cairo mainly because it is a hotel where you can see the pyramids. The building itself feels a bit old, but the large grounds are well maintained, and the gardens have a pleasant atmosphere, giving the hotel a calm, historic charm. Honestly, the main reason to stay here is completely for the view of the pyramids from the hotel. Seeing the pyramids from within the property and near the guest areas feels truly special, and I felt that this view alone makes the stay worthwhile. Being able to relax while looking at such an iconic, uniquely Egyptian landscape is a major highlight. On the other hand, it’s better not to expect too much from the food. Including the breakfast buffet, it feels more like an experience of “eating here” rather than coming for the taste itself. This is not a hotel you visit for its dining. Even so, I rate it highly because the power of the location and the view is overwhelming. If you think of it as a place to enjoy the scenery rather than the meals, the stay can be very satisfying. For anyone who wants to experience a pyramid view, this is undoubtedly a special hotel.
This is an outstanding hotel and the people who work here are so very kind, helpful and welcoming! I had the great pleasure to meet Mahmoud from Team Al Balman upon arriving at Mena House. He was so very kind and helpful! We laughed and talked as if we had known each other a long time! I felt so at home my first few minutes at the hotel! Mahmoud set the tone for an incredible experience of Egypt-the history, culture and the people were wonderful! The view of the pyramids is spectacular, whether from your room or the restaurants. The breakfast and lunch bar are one of the best buffets I have ever had the privilege to experience! It was delicious! Everyone I had the pleasure to meet and talk with were so very kind and friendly! I highly recommend this hotel and their amazing staff who go far beyond just doing their job. Thank you Mahmoud for helping make this an amazing experience ❣️👏👏👏
Second day, and last day out of three at the Marriott Mena House, facing the pyramids. What can we say? Quite simply: the pyramids are right there, in the garden. An absolutely divine team of receptionists, waiters and managers, all incredibly attentive, caring for us in every possible way. A stunning suite, with beautiful noble materials, magnificent pools, rich colors, and lush, flower-filled gardens. A truly gargantuan breakfast. This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful hotels in the world, with one of the best-trained staffs anywhere. Thank you, truly, for allowing me to live these experiences at 28 years old. With the eyes of a young man, I see the beauty of people and the beauty of the world, and it is a true privilege. Thank you to this hotel, and thank you to the entire team for making the final moments of my vacation so absolutely exceptional. With gratitude, from a Frenchman living in Brussels.
