The food was just okay, included in the tour. However, the drinks were a different story: €2 for a small bottle of water and €3 for a cortado. A real rip-off, the kind that goes down in history. I suppose the travel agency is squeezing the price down and the restaurant is making its profit elsewhere. Or maybe they're just plain crooks. Initially, they didn't accept cards. Later they did, but you have to argue. That said, the staff was very friendly. Truly, very friendly. My wife wasn't feeling well, and they were very helpful. I feel bad leaving such a bad review, but here we're not rating how they handled a problem, but rather the overall service of a restaurant.
Last meal and last rip-off in Egypt. All the tourists crammed in like sardines, where they take advantage of the situation and charge you an arm and a leg for a small bottle of water.
I went for a pre-arranged meal through the agency. The food was high quality, the service was good, and the restrooms were spotless. The place is very nice and immaculate. I recommend visiting.
