Coming here was a wonderful relaxing experience outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Cairo. The food is delicious and the service is great. We tried their fateer and it was worth the trip. Just make sure you call in advance and reserve your fateer. We also liked their fava beans + pastrami with eggs but the falafel was just OK. The views are great and we saw many families enjoying the property with their children. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cairo.

An Exceptional Dining Experience! 🌟 I recently had the pleasure of dining at Andrea Restaurant, and the experience was truly magnificent and highly memorable. This is a place that sets itself apart in every way. A Feast of Flavor The food here is simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious: Salads (السلطات): Beautifully prepared and fresh. Mombar (الممبار): Absolutely fantastic! I had never seen Mombar of this quality and impressive size before. A must-try! Grape Leaves (ورق العنب): Flavorful and perfectly rolled. Liver (الكبدة): Distinctive and beautifully executed. Grilled Chicken (الفراخ المشوية): Arguably the best grilled chicken I have ever tasted. It was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right (مظبوطة), and had a uniquely wonderful flavor. Quail (السمان): This was truly the star of the show—a masterpiece in its own league! (حكاية في حتة تانية). Fresh Bread (العيش الطازة): The fresh, piping hot bread was an amazing accompaniment. Wings (الجوانح): Even the fried wings were surprisingly delicious! Tea (الشاي): Even the simple tea had a distinctive and enjoyable flavor. Ambiance and Atmosphere The experience wasn't just about the food. The seating area is delightful, contributing to a wonderful atmosphere. It's a fantastic spot for a relaxing meal. For families, the restaurant offers a great addition: a lovely children's play area which makes it perfect for guests of all ages. The staff were supportive, professional and very responsive. However, one staff member who offered the menu tried forcefully to sell more food than the table (two people) could handle. Did not explain the size of dishes, nor health and allergy precautions. No meat or beef in the menu items at all, except in the starter menu. The meatballs were of low quality and utterly spicy; the sausage was very spicy as well (both from the starter menu). That staff member also tried to serve chicken liver between the dishes, which I firmly told him not to bring. Most importantly, he did not explain that all the dishes had a very spicy flavour, which made me stop eating, made me really sick all night and ruined my meeting. I took two Turisk coffees, which are not coffee at all. Overall, I paid thousands of pounds for dishes I literally throw in the bin. Not recommended at all if you are seeking a high-end restaurant or have any allergies, although the rest of the staff were really nice and very professional.

My friend took me to Andrea saying they serve great chicken dishes and I was not disappointed. We ordered 1/2 chicken along with the green salad, baba ghanoush, and vine leaves. The salad was super fresh, and the chicken was deliciously marinated with zataar. The fries served with the chicken was really good, too. We were seating inside the restaurant but they have a beautiful garden surrounded by various trees and plants. Overall, it was a simple but very nice lunch.
