This was amazing, AMAZING. There were a couple of paintings that made me quite emotional, the picnic in may was very touching in it's purity. I loved the 1st floor's 19th century section, it was wonderful. We spent 4 hours in it. If I lived in Budapest, I'd buy a year pass to make sure I could appreciate all of it. I really recommend it, a wonderful place!

i had an amazing experience in this gallery! The way of presenting the art works was absolutely phenomenal, f.e I loved how they displayed the most eye-catching painting right after the ticketshop. Each of the halls had different vibes as the colors of the walls were variable, while suiting the aesthetics of the art works. It is also nice that there are discounts for Youths (17-25)! The gallery broadens into several floors, so I’d recommend energising before visiting!

Everything in it was so good to see. The art was what I like, and think most people do, mostly between Renaissance and WW1 artpieces, most of them being Hungarian painters, which I love, because they value their cultural inheritance and there was Monet and else, which was the cherry on top. Amazing place to visit for few hours and this incredible city.

I haven't been here for many years. I loved it. Compared to museums in other big cities this is a place where you can really enjoy without having to wait for crowds in front of a picture. And the collection is breathtaking.

I absolutely loved walking around the National Gallery. I think I have spent like 4 hours in it today, taking short breaks. Their counches on the first floor are really comfortable. 😄♥️ Not to mention the artifacts: they are magnificent! Find my favourite ones below.
