I enjoyed my meal. The portions were generous, and I appreciated the vegetarian goulash with mushrooms. The peas were also a pleasant surprise, simple but delicious.
We went for dinner. The waiter that serves us was very nice, and the food was good, but it was obviously pre-made (not freshly made) and heated up since it arrived us literally 2 mins after ordering and it wasn’t very hot. Also, I got the goulash and it was way too salty (and I eat very salty food all the time). The cutlery, plates, and napkins were left on the table for us to set up when we sat down so also that part wasn’t great. It’s not expensive tho
Good Hungarian restaurant with great staff. Prices where also good. Normally people have to wait outside to be seated. Takes around 30minutes to have a table.
I got chicken paprikash, goulash and a couple of drinks for around $30 after everything. For Budapest especially, this is pretty much the best price you can find. Everyone was very nice as well, received so much complimentary bread I could hardly eat it all before I was totally satisfied. I especially recommend all fellow tourists, im American myself, to go to this restaurant!
Ordered chicken soup and goulash with a total of HUF8125 (incl service charges) Chicken soup is blend and tastes like hot water; Goulash tastes ok with a ok portion. Service is quick and some waiters can speak English. credit card accepted.
