What an awesome opportunity to truly walk through history and experience a living museum like this! The ship is just incredible, from bow to stern and everywhere in-between. You just get this sense of what life was like aboard this vessel, just be prepared to duck in certain areas haha.
Very nicely and impressively maintained piece of history. Great display at the visitor center, clean restrooms, educative video and just a few steps on board this beautiful ship. We walked here through the Gridley locks footpath which was fun to do!
The USS Constitution was an exciting piece of our country's history to visit. I highly recommend visiting both the boat and the museum. Each of them help you understand the significance of this amazing warship. The Navy Seamen that are stationed on a d around the USS Constitution are quite knowledgeable of the ship and were very helpful in answering my questions. Be sure to wear shoes that stay on your feet. When you go on the boat, there are steps that you can go down to see the different levels on the ship; sturdy shoes make it easier/safer to navigate.
Petty officer, Jones was an amazing TOUR Guide. I’m not typically a big fan of ships, but it was extraordinarily interesting, especially given the history behind the ship and the way the sailors utilized it on a daily basis. Highly recommend this tour whether you’re a war buff, history, buff, or just love ships!
Great tour on the USS Constitution. The active-duty Navy officer was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the ship's history. His professionalism and dedication made the visit highly memorable. Highly recommend taking the tour.
