The daily catch never disappoints our bellies. Great homemade black pasta, shrimp scampi along with monkfish marsala were tasty. Our server/Maria was super nice. Certainly without a doubt of coming back for more bites!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Daily Catch – North End, Boston If you’re looking for authentic, unforgettable seafood pasta in Boston, The Daily Catch is a must. I’m a huge fan of their Lobster Fra Diavolo. It’s hands down one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The flavors are bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced, and you can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. The place itself is small and cozy, with that classic North End charm. You might have to wait for a table, but it’s absolutely worth it. Every bite reminds me why I keep coming back! It’s that good! Can’t say enough good things about this spot. A true Boston gem!
I recently visited The Daily Catch in the North End, and while it was a decent experience overall, I felt it was a bit overrated for the price. The place is very small, and there was a long line, so be prepared to wait. On top of that, it’s cash-only, which was a bit frustrating and inconvenient. The highlight of the meal was definitely the scampi—it was flavorful, well-cooked, and easily the best part of the visit. However, the rest of the dishes didn’t stand out as much, especially considering how expensive everything was. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re curious, but between the wait, limited space, and pricing, it didn’t fully live up to expectations.
One of the more popular spots in the Boston area that I’ve been wanting to try for a while. We walked in and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The place is quite small with limited seating, but it’s lively and full of energy. The kitchen is right there, so you can hear all the cooking sounds, which adds to the vibrant atmosphere. The squid ink pasta was excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. The mussels weren’t quite to my taste- they were a bit too sour for me, possibly because of the lemon, but overall the food was still very enjoyable. We had a light dinner and left satisfied. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Just note that it’s CASH only. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.
This establishment, a hidden gem in Boston's North End, offers an exceptional culinary experience. Despite its intimate size, featuring approximately six tables, the cuisine is outstanding, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. They specialize in authentic Italian dishes, incorporating fresh lobster on a daily basis. Service is prompt, and the staff is both professional and accommodating. We highly recommend the renowned Lobster Fra Diavolo, a single portion of which is ample for two adults. Please refer to the attached photograph for a visual representation. The larger size, intended for two, can comfortably serve three to four adults, making it an excellent option for sharing a generous selection of fresh seafood. For larger groups, an alternative location of Daily Catch is available at 65 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, MA, situated approximately 5 to 8 minutes away. The North End location is best suited for parties of two to four individuals. For groups exceeding four, the larger Atlantic Avenue location is advisable. Please note that the North End establishment exclusively accepts cash payments, whereas the larger location accommodates various forms of payment.
