We enjoyed a POPS concert while they played How to Train Your Dragon. I stand by a 5-star rating even though the seating in the orchestra area was very tight and there were tiny tables for holding drinks and food. It only added to an intimate atmosphere! We've attended several orchestral with movie events, in multiple cities, and this was one of the best! The conductor was responsive to the audience, the symphony was perfectly in sync to the movie, and the audience was engaged and inspired. Our teenage son loved the experience and I would recommend this to any family hoping to introduce their kids to the symphony early in their lives!
We enjoyed our annual visit to see the Boston Pops. Staff is friendly during these events. Price of food is a bit high, but it is an event venue, so you expect it. We always sit at tables on the floor and those can get a bit tight to get in and out of, but overall, the experience is usually great.
Went for Christmas "Holiday Pop ". Great concert! Beautiful place! Can walk to both Green line and Orange line in 6 minutes.
Symphony Hall in Boston is one of the most notable concert halls in the world. The sound is unbelievable. We had the pleasure to see Seth MacFarlane on NYE 2025. He was excellent.
Thank you for offering the interesting free public tour. The scheduling was easily done online. I really enjoyed seeing different areas of the hall. There were only 2 people on the April 4th 4pm tour. Our guide, Lynn, was excellent. She was very pleasant, easy to understand and knowledgeable. Louisa Orr
