My recent stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston was nothing short of exceptional. As someone who travels frequently for business, quality sleep is rare — but the beds were unbelievably comfortable, and I slept straight through the night, which almost never happens. The staff truly sets this property apart. Every interaction felt warm, polished, and genuinely attentive without ever being overbearing. The location is perfect — everything feels effortlessly accessible, making work commitments and downtime equally easy. And the spa… absolutely incredible. It was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had at any hotel. Calm, serene, and exactly what you want after a long day of meetings. This hotel delivers on every level — comfort, service, atmosphere, and experience. I would return without hesitation.
I chose the Mandarin Oriental for a staycation celebrating my wife's birthday, and they made it perfect. The pre-stay email was helpful to me, as I wasn't sure what they'd be capable of in terms of celebratory touches. There was a lovely dessert waiting in the room when we arrived, as well as a card from the hotel. The room was beautiful, and quiet, and everything we wanted. My wife spent one of the days soaking in the tub, and relaxing, as I'd hoped she'd be able to. The turn down service was amazing, and they even cleaned the tub (bath product residue) so that she could fit in another bath before we left in the morning. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we weren't left wanting for anything. All around great stay, and I can't thank them enough for making my wife's milestone birthday such a success. Would highly recommend. We're local, but will stay again if we ever have the want/need.
I have been coming back several times and was impressed every time. Recently had a wonderful massage and spa experience as a Mother’s Day treat. The facility has all you can expect from a 5-Star hotel. The match energy balls made freshly at the kitchen were excellent! My therapist Cecilia is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and extremely tentative. She listened carefully and tailored her approach based on my feedback and even recommended at-home care and exercises to further improve my overall wellbeing. Will come back again soon. :)
Wonderful hotel in the heart of Boston. Amenities are plentiful and the service is great! In particular the room service and in room dining department are on point. Nathalie from IRD was knowledgeable and delivered 5 star service, giving me recommendations on what to eat. The food was delicious and always arrived on time. We're for sure staying here again next time we come to Boston.
From the moment you pull up in your car the staff at the Mandarin welcome you and provide an effortless transition to the comfort of your room. Front desk staff quickly process your information and assist in selecting the room that best fits your profile. Housekeeping does an outstanding job maintaining the room and providing for any unique requirements. We stayed there last year and the service has actually become even more refined.
