Grimy and spectacular at the same time. Seriously, one of the coolest things about House of Blues is the stairwells. They have amazing portraits painted right onto the walls! Saw The Mountain Goats there in May and it was beautiful. Great views from all around the floor.

House of Blues always is a great venue for many great bands. It is a fairly large venue, but every performance I've been to, it gets extremely packed. There's the standing main floor, standing second floor/mezzanine, and seated third floor. I believe the best areas to see a performance is the main floor or second floor. They have bar areas on the main floor and provide coat check near the entrance. Overall exciting venue, just gets a bit hot in temperature during packed performances. Parking is difficult unless you find a nearby lot. Personally I like to park on Newbury St, and have a good 20 minute walk to the venue.

An AMAZING VENUE!! Halloween 2025 my boyfriend proposed to me here during a meet and greet with the band members of Thrice! An unforgettable night, from an amazing atmosphere, to amazing service and kindness in the foundation room, great food and drinks and a huge standing room venue for shows. Thank you to our server AJ in the foundation room for making our night even more special! We will definitely be back to make more memories!

Saw an Australian band I love, Sticky Fingers. Did not disappoint. Unfortunately Dylan Frost the front man wasn't there. He left the band last year. It was kinda sad. But to see Patty the basist and Freddy Crabs the keyboard player in person was awesome. Great vibes.

My daughter is a full-time wheelchair user. This venue exceeded our expectations with accessibility. We were helped in early, brought all the way to our seats and given a little "tour". They repeatedly checked in on us and helped us to and from the rest area (due to the crowds). It is wonderful that the staff is so kind. Made our night and we will be back!!!! Thank you!!!
