The most unique bar I’ve ever been to! It’s well worth both the hunt to find it and the wait to get in. This was my third time here and it’s been an amazing each time! Two of those times they had a 1-2 hour wait - that’s totally fine! Go check out another nearby bar while you wait. :) I promise it’s worth it. My favorite drink is the Nightmarch. The waitstaff are great at helping you decide what to get because all of the drinks have ingredients that are unique.

They don’t take reservations over the phone or online, so you have to go in person to get your name on the list. Just a heads up that if you arrive too late, they may stop adding names altogether. We got there around 7:30 pm and were quoted a 2 hour wait. Since we had time to wander around Prudential, we decided to stick with it. By the time we came back at 9:30, they had stopped taking new names, which made us wonder if the wait would actually be worth it. It absolutely was. The space is stunning, very cave like with dim candle lighting that creates a calm, intimate vibe. The music is at the perfect level where you can actually talk without raising your voice, and the seating is super comfortable, great for just sinking in and relaxing. The menus are such a fun touch too, you read hidden text using a light they provide, which adds to the whole experience. The space is on the smaller side and does get quite crowded, and one glass accidentally broke during our visit. The staff handled it very kindly and replaced it without charging us, which we really appreciated. Drinks were beautifully presented and genuinely delicious. Between our group we tried around 4 to 5 different cocktails and all of them were impressive. We missed the kitchen since it had already closed by the time we got in, but even just for drinks and the ambiance, it was a great experience.

A delightful surprise was the secret notes hidden throughout the menu—playful, intriguing, and perfectly on theme. Reading them added an extra layer of fun and uniqueness. Hecate is a carefully orchestrated experience that rewards curiosity and savoring the moment. An absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional cocktails, atmosphere, and hospitality done at the highest level.

First time here after many attempts and got lucky to snag up seating for two. Enjoyed the ambiance, the atmosphere and the cocktails! The pictures don’t do the cocktails justice. Very attentive and knowledgeable servers. Going to try my luck again next time so we’ll be back.

A very cool experience! I enjoyed the story telling and presentation of the beverages. Personally there wasn’t really any drink that *spoke* to me, I’m more of a fruity little drink kind of gal. But the ambiance and fact that it feels like a true speakeasy makes it an enjoyable experience
