Incredible place! To us this is a classic American steak house. Brilliant menu - all the classics you’d expect - we opted for crab cakes and french onion soup for starter which was fantastic and then onto the steak! The sides are huge but beauts - especially the mac n cheese! The wine list is a small book! The som recommended an excellent wine to our liking. Fabulous service. Could not manage dessert!

We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. Just genuinely attentive, professional, and welcoming service that elevated the entire experience. An unforgettable dinner all around. We can’t wait to come back.

A michillen stars worthy Food, service and ambiance is world class. Very welcoming , warm and accommodating. Started the evening with a wagyu beef Carpaccio($34) Tuna tarter ($32) An old fashion cocktail My daughter had the 2 lb lobester($110) Wife had Ora king Salmon($55) And I had 100 day aged Prime Ribeye ($98) No sides, no desert. Every plate was prepared perfectly, right temperature, right presentation. Service was top notch. If in Biston is a must visit, and its definitely worth the drive or the flight. Hands down one if the best steakhouse in northeast.

Very disappointing service, food and atmosphere! We booked here with high expectations and unfortunately after spending quite a fortune we left with huge regrets. Starting with atmosphere, we booked for dinner. The place is super loud to the level that the waiter was struggling to communicate with us. We were sat upstairs and it was very cold that we had to keep jackets on! The service given the tip we paid was very disappointing. Super slow and not very customer friendly behavior. We ordered some soft drinks and I specifically requested low on ice. The waiter completely ignored and the glass was full of ice. I asked to take reduce the ice amount and he just took some out and poured the rest in a smaller glass and brought back. We paid 6 dollars for a quarter of a glass soda!! You be the judge. I guess the business is so struggling that they need to make the money off of soft drink! The food was the worst of all. We ordered NY and filet mignon steaks and a few sides and appetizers. Some items were burning hot and some were cold! We ordered medium well for temperature and it was more than well done. You can see in the photos. And of course the prices are extremely high. For a tiny piece of potato with a sprinkle of caviar you pay 24 dollars. See the photo! Overall very inappropriately rated restaurant. Definitely not visiting this place again.

My wife and I recently tried grill 23 and we keep coming back. I already knew it was a very popular steak house and it does not disappoint. We were very impressed with the wait staff as they were frequently around and very attentive to every table. The food itself is incredible. Every dish has unique flare and is very tasty. I especially enjoyed the lobster bisque and the onion soup. The steaks are very good quality and truly worth what you pay. They are simply seasoned but cooked to perfection with good flavor. We continuously get the dry aged sirloin. Drinks are good and sides/ starting bread only add to the greatness of the meal. Dessert menu is always switching so we have had a few options, all very good and a solid end to the meal. Highly recommend!
