Had a Friday lunch here. Was able to secure reservation day before for 2. Mainly chose for the rooftop view. Was hot mid 80s and there was work being done on the windows so they were open and it was pretty warm in the dining room. Chairs were cozy and nicely appointed space. My friend had the proseco which was refreshing and I had a cucumber lemonade. We then had the squash carpacchio which was very unique and had delicate herb flavorings which complemented the squash. Also shared a tuna crudo which was fresh. For mains I had the branzino which was very refreshing and well cooked and seasoned and my friend had the maine lobster pasta. I tried the pasta but I liked the fish better. We then finished with pistachio and hazelnut gelato. The servers were attentive. Our main waitress was a bit perfunctory but others came and cleared plates, utensils and water with kind efficiency. I was a bit disappointed by the view from our table mainly due to the lip overhang which seemed to obscure most of the commons and only allowed a peak at the skyline. I woild however dine again and recommend this place.

Beautiful ambiance, stunning views, and exceptional food. The Butternut Squash Carpaccio was fresh and flavorful, the Spicy Lobster Capellini was delicious with the perfect kick, and the Veal Milanese was cooked to perfection. We ended with the Chocolate Hazelnut Cake, which was absolutely divine. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish!

Contessa Boston completely lives up to the hype. The food was absolutely unbelievable—every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, but the standout for me was the beef carpaccio. It was exceptional and easily one of the best I’ve had. Reservations are definitely tough to secure, which speaks to how in-demand the restaurant is. Despite how busy it was, the service remained attentive and professional. At one point, the manager kindly asked if we would move before dessert to accommodate another reservation, and they graciously comped our dessert for the inconvenience—which was a very appreciated and classy touch. The ambiance is truly stunning. From the decor to the overall vibe, it feels elevated and special without being over the top. Perfect for a night out, celebration, or when you just want an incredible dining experience. Highly recommend—just be sure to book early!

Had a birthday lunch at Contessa Boston and it was absolutely beautiful ✨🎂 The rooftop atmosphere and city view made the whole experience feel elegant and relaxing. Perfect spot for a special lunch, celebration, or date in Boston. The restaurant is stylish, classy, and every corner is photo-worthy. The food was delicious, well presented, and full of flavor. Service was attentive and welcoming, which made the birthday experience even more memorable. Definitely one of the best lunch spots in Boston if you want great food, amazing vibes, and a luxury dining experience ❤️ Price : around 100$ per person #กี้ไปเรื่อย #กี้พาเที่ยว #กินข้าวกับกี้

Interior is stunning and the food is good enough to make it worth the effort to make a reservation, especially for celebrating something. Our waiter could’ve been warmer, but the rest of the staff I interacted with were all great. - Tonnato crudo: tuna felt fresh and the addition of artichoke hearts + crisps on top made it a well rounded dish - Fettuccini bolognese: great quality pasta + perfectly cooked. The serving was kindly split between my friend and I to share - the Spritz Contessa was very solid
